This is an excellent family run hotel , our room was a good size, nicely furnished and spotlessly clean.

This place was spotless throughout, had our evening meal here which was delicious. Staff were pleasant and friendly, only slight niggle was the bedroom was a little chilly when the heating went off.

All was good, room was clean and the food was good.

Www. Close by parking to the room easy check-in. Friendly. Nice staff.

This is a very old hotel. No lift/elevator so that is something to consider. Blood stains on my bed wrap (more for decoration) Alerted front desk and guy was really nice and came and removed it. Paint peeling from bathroom ceiling. Noisy outside as my room faced the busy street.

Clean room and shops nearby

Staff were excellent but were overstretched on the night we stayed. Dinner was delayed by over an hour and half and eating late does not suit me due to a family party. There is not much else in Thurso so was glad to have hot food anyway. Food was good and breakfast ok.

uncooperative Staff

A good, well-run hotel. No criticisms. Also, we had a slight problem with a noisy resident in the next room to us. I contacted the night porter who quickly sorted things out, calmly, politely and effectively. The restaurant is exceptionally good - way above the general standard of freezer to microwave meals you encounter so often.

Great facility with all amenities. Very good service, great staff, good food.

The front desk went ubove and beyond to help us out and meet every request. The restaurant had amazing food and the wait staff was excellent and top of things in super friendly would definitely recommend.

We were on the ground level with minimal steps. Convenient to grocery store and ferry terminal.

Our room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was spacious with plenty of places to put/hang your toiletries or clothing on. I think the walls are thin because it was quite noisy. The shower pressure was weak and although breakfast was good, there were no millk alternatives.

Hotellet kanske behöver lite uppdatering gällande badrum och inredningen. Unken/mögellukt. Vi förstår att man kanske inte har den ekonomiska möjligheten att göra allt men det skulle nog vara bra om man tog tag i mögellukt. Vi både i ett rum på baksidan av hotellet. Vill däremot påtala att maten var över förväntan. Frukost var normal engelsk frukost.

Friendly and welcoming staff. Room clean comfortable. Restaurant and bar staff were attentive. Had a very enjoyable stay.

Provided a base but wasn’t great.

The gentleman that checked us in was great. He was very helpful with questions we had about the area, made sure we had our ferry tickets and assisted with the dinner service. The young gentlemen who assisted at dinner were very polite and knowledgeable about the menu. One thing that we would have liked was wash clothes. We would recommend staying here.

Nice rooms and good food.

The staff were amazing. They couldn’t do enough for us. We had a lovely dinner. We were cycling and they made a space for us to store our bikes safely inside which was very kind. Lovely experience.
