Stunning location, room nice and clean, food lovely though limited menu, good beer, good selection of whiskey. Very enjoyable stay

Seemed very expensive for a small room at £190 with no breakfast. For a NC500 overnight stay dinner looked very expensive at £60 a head. Not a lot of other food options. Lovely property in a beautiful spot but you pay for it and for these prices it needs a bit more attention to detail.

Absolutely gorgeous view and grounds. Staff was excellent at every interaction.

We stayed in two different rooms. The first room was on the top floor and very small with a slanted ceiling and the bed was a small double bed so we weren’t that comfortable. The second night we stayed in one of the bigger deluxe rooms on the first floor, which was much nicer. The dinner in the restaurant was delicious and the service was excellent.

Very cozy hotel by the water. Nice, clean, comfortable rooms; if a bit small.

Beautiful property and excellent food and service

Mike, behind the bar, was so knowledgeable. He helped make our evening enjoyable trying new whiskeys and sharing his expertise. Breakfast and breakfast service was wonderful.

Lovely old grand building in an a beautiful setting- lochside with views to beat any! Friendly staff, great meal. A great location to explore some unique countryside from. Large enough to feel like a well equipped hotel, but small enough to feel exclusive and special. Older room, but felt authentic and comfortable.

It was practically perfect. Loved it. The lodge is such a lovely place with a superb setting. Delicious food. Which we’d stayed a week.

Lovely old Hunting Lodge, downstairs sitting rooms and restaurant well appointed. Our room was nice although only view of the back gardens and Falconry and the room was on the small side. Next time I would upgrade to a larger room with a view of the Loch. The property the Hotel is situated in is stunning for gardens and views. Meal at Restaurant was A Grade and would highly recommend the food.

This Is an overpriced hotel. This is not a 4 star hotel at all, so the rooms, hotel conditions and food served do not match the price you pay for. Most of the rooms are small and some are really not very accessible with suitcases. There are more options around that have a much better ratio quality/price

A first class historic property in a beautiful location. A very imaginative chef produced dishes that were a joy to look at and had flavour combinations that were unique and very delicious.

A unique and special property with the most amazing views. The accommodations are first rate and the staff exceptional. The bar an food are fantastic!

Lovely old property with sweeping views of the water. Room was comfortable. Had dinner and breakfast at the lodge for our stay. I thought the property was a bit pricey overall. But service and location was ideal for our journey.

Very nice experience. Was a great property with nice people Restaurant was very good enjoyed our dinner rooms are good comfortable beds and pillows would defiantly stay again
