Looks nothing as grand as the photos room was comfortable enough but the meal in the snug was poor however breakfast was good. Seriously overpriced

Clean and comfortable, ample parking, good breakfast. Room was a little dated and could not get tv to work.

Loved out stop here. Great staff wonderful beach walk. Suit us adult family of 3

Wir waren hier für 1 Nacht inkl. Frühstück auf unserer Rundreise. Der Besitzer war sehr, sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück, welches seine Frau zubereitet hat, war unheimlich lecker. Hier gibt es nichts auszusetzen. Lediglich die Einrichtung des Zimmers und die des Bades war etwas spartanisch. Nichtsdestotrotz - wir wurden ausgesprochen freundlich behandelt und für 1 Nacht absolut okay. Jederzeit wieder. PS. Wir haben dort auch zu Abend gegessen. Dieses war lecker - jedoch etwas kleine Portionen.

Such friendly owners. Room had everything we needed. Breakfast and evening meals were delicious and a visit to Strathy beach is a must.

The facility offers free wifi but the signal was very weak and dropped out repeatedly. For international travellers who rely on wifi for communication and planning will find it difficult to use. Breakfast is not offered early for travellers on an early rise itenerary. No wash cloths in the bathroom for showering. Lighting in the room was dim and one bulb did not work. The bed was comfortable and the room clean. Check in was fine.

Great room, great breakfast, great service!

We had a lovely stay with Heather and Craig. Room 1 was ground floor, quite roomy and very comfortable. We enjoyed our evening meal which after dining out for a couple of weeks during our trip it felt like a perfect home cooked meal. We liked the options for breakfast and once again enjoyed our selections.

This was perfect for what we were looking for. Hosts were incredible.

Very limited options in this part of Scotland so I didn't have any great expectations prior to arriving, but was pleasantly surprised. Yes it is a bit tired looking in places, but looking past that, and far more important, it is welcoming, clean, comfortable and serves very good food. Everything you could want after a long day travelling or walking. The hosts are very dedicated and great to chat with. I would have happily stayed longer and would have no issues with staying there again should I be in the area.

Einsam gelegen, daher super, dass es im Haus eine Gaststube mit gutem Essen gibt und gleich einen Pub dazu. Sauber, sehr freundliche Gastgeber, urig. Zimmer war groß und bequem. Sehr ruhige Lage! Tolles schottisches Frühstück. Absolut zu empfehlen für einen Trip.
