Fantastic location, farmland but walking distance to town. Home-like.

The property was very homey and comfortable. It far from town. Not far from the Ferry.

Very friendly people about and such a lovely spot

A one bedroom accommodation that’s fine for the 4 nights we were there but a bit small for any longer. The weather was absolutely gorgeous so were out and about evert day, probably get a bit stir crazy in bad weather. Alexander, who manages the accommodations, is very helpful and friendly.

Lovely place near Stromness - perfect for our family of 5. Alexander, the host, greeted us with some milk, biscuits and some lollies for the kids. Lovely views of the nearby meadows and hills. Would stay again

Beautiful, comfortable apartment with great views of rolling farmland. The Wi-Fi signal is strong and with a grocery store close by, it is perfectly set up to make meals in the apartment..

Perfect location and facilities

It’s position is ideal, quiet, easy to get around the island, own parking space and has everything you need for your holiday. Good value

Our stay was excellent. We were very comfortable and required nothing.

Absolutely fantastic apartment to stay in! Close to Stromness centre and within easy reach of so many attractions on Orkney and with the most beautiful views both to the front and rear of the property. The apartment was spotless, tastefully decorated and modern, with all of the comforts needed for our holiday… and more! The kitchen area was new, clean with lots of facilities (including a washing machine), while the lounge has a large smartTV, games and guides to the area. There are 2, big, well presented bedrooms, 3 toilets (2 en-suite bathrooms). The owner was so helpful and gave great communication via texts to give us information etc. Absolutely perfect stay… we will be returning and recommending to others!

Lovely little apartment perfect for two. Walk straight from the door into lovely countryside. Cosy and well equipped.

The room was not ready when we arrived as the owner had forgotten about us. The woman who was there apologised but was not the owner (we have had no apology from her). The place itself was basic but fine with the exception of some of the kitchen utensils (there was hair in the cheese grater). On the bright side it was in a lovely location and the bed was very comfortable.

All was just fine. The apartment is small but ideal for 2 persons. Well equipped and very comfortable.

The apartment we had was very small but adequate for our needs for a 3 night stay. We were able to have some meals in at night as it has a reasonably well supplied kitchen & this was a bonus after long days out exploring the main island of Orkney. We were also able to cook our own breakfast. Overall, a reasonable stay for a reasonable cost.

The accommodation was a little difficult to find but following the email instructions we found it without too much trouble. The apartment is clean, tidy and roomy and in a lovely country setting. Each of the two bedrooms has an ensuite bathroom. I would stay here again, it was very comfortable. The 4pm check in is a bit late, 2pm would be a better time.

Orkney is a great island to visit, as a lover of the outdoors it has plenty to offer - island hopping, coastal walks, bird watching and more. Stromness is a small town with 3/4 eating places - the Ferry Inn was good but you need to book ahead. The apartment is fine for a short stop over, but if you where to spend your days at the apartment the sitting room furniture is pretty uncomfortable, you would not sit in the chairs for long.
