Nous avons été vraiment charmé par l'endroit, la propreté est irréprochable les chambres sont luxueuses l'extérieur est magnifique avec sa piscine ses palmiers. Je recommande évidemment cet endroit

Staff was lovely!

It was a great stay. The staff went out of their way to make me comfortable.

From the website, La Villa Serere should be a lovely stay but what we found in the comfort apartment was a dirty bathroom with broken furniture, broken outdoor kitchen and broken generator as our view. The villa kitchen is filthy and covered in bugs that the staff was sending breakfast out of. Being so close to the airport and a newer construction this place should be fabulous but it clearly lacks good management on its upkeep. The pool area is nice and looks like the pictures and is pretty much it's only saving grace. It reminded us of staying in a dilapidated motel from the 1950's in America. Popenguine is a lovely place, you should totally visit and you deserve a nice stay!

Geen goede parkeergelegenheid. Minden in de zon. Uiteindelijk mochten we in de garage. Personeel heel onvriendelijk en kortaf,op het onbeschofte af. Je voelt je niet weljom. Prachtige plek en accomodatie.

Osman was really nice. He stayed until 1am for my husband's late arrival and made sure he was ok. We ill definitely visit there again

Nestled in the heart of Thies Region, this eco-friendly property boasts natural beauty equipped with a pool, restaurant on site, beach access, and friendly property caretakers that ensure that the stay at the property is both memorable and enjoyable. Even Airport transfer can be arranged by contacting the property in advance. Only suggestion is to possibly have also a menu or guidebook in English as everything is in French and needed to be physically translated. Overall wonderful stay!

Superbe séjour avec un gérant disponible et aux petits soins. Nous avons passé un excellent moment

The house is full of dust, the vehicle that picked me up from airport was also full of dust

This hotel could not be found, we never checked in as we never found it albiet following a Google direction.

Popenguine is wonderful and this is nice property close to the beach, probably one of the best options there. Pool is nice and staff are great. We really enjoyed our stay.

Nearest facility from the airport. Professional staff. Ideal for a long transit. Hard to find nonetheless.

Staff extrêmement disponible. Service de navette a un prix raisonnable par rapport aux taxis locaux. Mamadou le gérant qui se démène pour trouver des solutions. Petit Déjeuner agréable au bord de la piscine avec les oiseaux.

Problema 1: la ubicación y la ausencia de carteles indicadores. Si llegas por la noche no hay modo de encontrarlo más que llamando por teléfono cuando estás en la zona. Salieron a buscarnos para indicarnos el camino. Problema 2: viajábamos con coche de alquiler con chofer y normalmente en los establecimientos hosteleros en Senegal alojan gratis a los chóferes. En este sitio le pusieron a dormir en la terraza. Lo sabemos porque a las 6.30 de la mañana salimos y lo vimos tumbado en un rincón, pero luego nos vinieron con una factura de una habitación doble, más los desayunos y la cena del chofer. No hubo forma de hacer valer lo que habíamos visto y como era nuestra primera noche en Senegal, no quisimos problemas y pagamos. Luego el propietario habló con el chofer, que antes de marcharnos entró de nuevo en el establecimiento. Pensamos que a cobrar su parte. Consideramos que esta actuación lo único que hace es desacreditar al propietario de este alojamiento y a todo su país, cuyo valor principal es la acogida y la hospitalidad. Por cierto, el desayuno de 6 € con café y pan de hace una semana. No es adecuado para hacer una noche si estás de paso.

The location is much closer to the airport than driving into Dakar especially if it’s a layover and a flight out the next morning. There wasn’t any hot water for a shower but didn’t attempt to ask why after I was already in the shower.However, staff was friendly and prompt pickup from the airport.

I loved the serenity... the green surrounding.... the view of the ocean from the balcony... gentleness of the staff.
