Kitsch; somewhat cheesy decoration but also gave it interesting personality. about 15 minutes walk from downtown so the location is not ideal but still close enough, and gives you the advantage of being away from the main touristy areas.
The staff were amazing. Everyone felt genuinely nice. From the cleaning people to the door man to the servers and the receptionists.

This hotel is absolutely amazing. We stayed for 9 nights and loved everything about it. The service is amazing. Such gorgeous staff. Loved the hotel facilities too. The rooftop pool is incredible.
