InterContinental Hotels JOHANNESBURG O.R.TAMBO AIRPORT by IHG, an IHG Hotel

Room is very old…not clean well, Tel is broken also…it’s hard to connecting with the frontdesk …only location is good!

This hotel is very strict on their check in time (Their check in time is 14:00, check out is 11:00), even they have rooms available, they will not let you in earlier unless you pay for the surcharge. We pay almost USD 100 for the TAX when booking with Hotel.com. However after our breakfast, they charged us again the TAX for the breakfast, which I don't think is reasonable !!

Great hotel and easy walk across the street from the International terminal (terminal 3) Restaurant is exceptional (especially for a hotel restaurant.)

It’s a great hotel for a layover heading to other African destinations.

Great hotel with good amenities and a fabulous staff that is always eager to assist. I recommend the restaurant as well. Both breakfast and supper were excellent. And thanks for helping us with our bags, Tumelo!

A lovely welcoming hotel if you need an overnight at Joburg airport - fabulous breakfast too.

Convenient for late arriving flights from US. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Good and reasonably priced restaurant and room service.

I love staying at the Intercontinental - the ease of staying here is second only to the amazing care and service. Really above and beyond! The breakfast is terrific and quick if you need it to be. The gym being open 24 hours is a huge bonus with late night international arrivals. And total professionalism throughout. Thank you for making a day or two of work and being in transit to Botswana something to look forward to every time.

The rooms are great - however the AC does not work very well. We could not get it to go below 22.5 degrees. It was set on 18 degrees.

Great location and clean but I’m not certain it’s worth the price per night

The restaurant is amazing the food is incredible and very affordable. And you can get to the hotel by walking out of the airport and into the Hotel. Very convenient after a 14-hour flight

Loved this space. Exactly what you need for a day room or an overnight stay.

Stayed here for an extended layover between flights. Walked to hotel from Airport as it's just right there. Great place.

Had a very nice stay twice. The hotel is beautiful but rooms were very small but fully equipped. Service from bell staff, front desk very good. Restaurant service was sporadic - some great - some not so. We greatly appreciated the IHG late checkout and that would be reason to sty on a return trip. Also great location.
