We booked this on the day when plans had to change, and were so glad we did! Cape Agulhas is a lovely place, so geographically significant, and South Point was the perfect place to enjoy it from! Beverley greeted us very warmly and you could tell she took a real pride in ensuring that the property was optimally presented. She showed us to an immaculately clean apartment; small but perfectly formed! The outdoor area was an absolute bonus for us to reorganise our packing. We met the owner, Hilary, in her laundry business next door, and what a wonderful lady she was! We really enjoyed hearing the story of her her life in South Africa. She also gave us a great advice on where to have dinner, and how to see the best of the local attractions (the atmospheric lighthouse and beautiful coastline).

This was a budget stay, which is what we had chosen. It was compact and functional, with a fridge freezer, microwave and TV. It was clean and tidy with parking. Amenities were close by. We arrived on a Sunday and restaurants closed early, which was a problem by the time we realised it!

The hotel is on the main street of the sleepy little town of L'Aguhlas. Location was extremely convenient -- we were within 2 blocks of all 3 restaurants and the only grocery in town. and a few minutes walk to the lighthouse and the southern tip of Africa. Our room was close to the street but because there was almost no traffic, the room was quiet and restful, and we enjoyed the front porch with picnic table. Because parking was out front, we were literally a couple of meters from our car, which made loading and unloading all our luggage very simple. Our unit was squeaky clean and the hostess was friendly and helpful. Only negative was that the rooms are a little small, but other than that we liked the place a lot, and would definitely stay here if we return to L'Agulhas.

Great place to stay for the night. Upon checking in I recorded some great advice on places to see whilst I was visiting the area. Fantastic location and self check out in the morning.
This was topped by a great price for a wonderful apartment.

This was a lovely self-catering studio unit that had loads of space both inside and outside to hang out. It gave us walkable access to the lighthouse, Cape Agulhus and the shipwreck - all of which were really cool. The host couldn't have been more helpful.

Our stay was great! We only stayed one night during our drive through the garden route, but it was lovely. I called in advance and let them know I would be arriving a little late (6:45pm). They waited for me and didn’t seem one bit bothered. The room was spacious and very clean. There was fresh milk and coffee for the morning. It has a great location, right by the ocean!

Die Apartments sind sehr geschmackvoll und mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Die Sauberkeit ist überragend und Hilary ist eine sehr hilfsbereite und charmante Gastgeberin. Wir waren leider nur 3 Nächte da, kommen aber sicher wieder. Können diese Unterkunft wärmstens weiterempfehlen!

We were warmly welcomed by Michelle who showed us to our apartment for the night. It was spotlessly clean and well-equipped with everything we needed to make our own meals. We enjoyed a bbq and had a comfortable sleep. The apartment was great for a few nights but probably a little small for any longer duration.
