Rooms are nice and clean. Daily cleaning with new towels every day. Good breakfast

It’s a very clean and well maintained place. It’s money value is amazing including a delicious breakfast. Met many solo travellers from Austria, Italy, France, Canada and UK. I would stay there again for sure.

It’s not what I expected but it turned out it’s a nice place with great service from the staff. Too bad there’s no elevator. Overall I enjoyed it.

Pros: - Accessible to all attractions (walkable) - Near bus stops - Dog nearby is very cute and we will visit him everyday - Donut shop nearby is really good and friendly - Opposite the road, there is 7-11, supermarket and snack shop, even a chicken truck at night - Heating is good Cons: - We don’t use the male toilet but there is a pee smell emitting from it - Staircase x2 (manageable) - One of the female toilet cubicle is always out of paper (two toilet available, 3 shower room) Will stay again if i visit gyeongju !!!

I absolutely loved the Gyeongju Blueboat! The kitchen/lobby was so nice, as were the bathrooms. The bedrooms were also super nice and my little bunk bed reminded me of like, Japanese train bed pods? Could draw the curtain, turn on the light, and have your own little cozy nook. Loved it! One thing I would have liked better is if the luggage storage under the beds actually locked; as it is, even if you turn the key the doors can just be opened.

Very helpful English speaking staff with great travel tips. Welcoming common room with full kitchen. Room was a bit dingy but it was a good price in a convenient location.

Great location! Clean, comfy, convenient and close to most of the historical locations and tombs - most of which I was able to walk to or take a quick bus ride to. As a solo female solo backpacker, it was a great place to explore on my own as there were many local families and other travelers who had flocked to Gyeongju for the holidays. Lots of big old green trees and wonderful environment! I was even able to take an hour bus ride out to the sea through beautiful Korean back country and see the Tomb of King Munmu. I loved every bit of my stay in gyeong-ju! Having a place to just drop all of my things at such a central location as the Blueboat made my whole trip so much more easier. I might have even taken a quick trip down to Ulsan or Busan if I had had more time, as the main train station was only steps away! :)

Excellent location, stone's throw away from the train station. Receptionist was very helpful and friendly in giving advise on locations to visit and places to eat. Place was kept very clean and homey inside. But be aware that it is located on the 2nd floor without lifts, so you will need to lug your bags up one floor.

The location is good, right next to train station and around 20 min walk from intercity bus terminal. Wet market and lots of restaurants nearby. Staff were helpful, hostel was resourceful, with even a file for restaurants and famous dishes with both Korean and English. Breakfast was great, esp when there's a self help station for frying eggs. Clean room and washroom. Totally no complaints. Could be even better if there's stronger ventilation for bath area, for it was very wet during peak hours, or even the next morning. Overall an enjoyable stay, would definitely return in our next Gyeongju trip. :)

It was a handy location, near the train station. Some English TV stations was a plus for me.

Perfectly located, good facilities, helpful staff.

The hostel is amazing. Great, quiet vibe with an amazing staff that is very knowledgeable about the area, so they will and are definitely willing to help you out figure out your plans for visit. The only downside was that I could hear the people in the hall when I was sleeping near the hallway. But, I was able to move beds the next night. Other than that, the bathroom and kitchen are really clean and everything about the stay was great!!

Good choice for price-centered stay

This is one of the best hostels I've ever stayed in. The girl on the front desk was amazing, really helpful and did my laundry for me. The room was excellent. The beds are very comfortable and each has a shade you can pull down for extra privacy. There's two powerpoints at each bed and a little shelf for your laptop or tablet. The hostel is super clean, there's toiletries in the bathrooms and the breakfast is excellent with cereal, eggs, toast, milk, juice, coffee, tea and even chocolate syrup.
