HOMES STAY 明洞

the location is fantastic given close proximity to airport bus stop, a normal bus stop, and the subway station underneath the building. rooms are spacious and have kitchen, separate dining space, and W/D. the only downside is the limited number of elevators which are also painfully slow, and the lack of staff available to assist with check-ins (they have check-in machines in the lobby but those never seem to work the two times we've stayed here)

A nice accomodation for a solo traveler

Overall, it is a very good hotel with excellent location just above subway station. The room is also equipped with washer and microwave. The only drawback is the hot water pressure. The hot water pressure is very weak.

Super convenient location to walk to Myeongdong. The area around the hotel is not too busy and has many stores closeby. Room was very clean and spacious. Only downside is the elevators get very crowded.

The room is not that big but it has everything we needed inside.

Room for improvement for the front desk manner in dealing with early arrival leave luggage customers

Our 5 night stay at HOMES Myeongdong was amazing! The location was perfect, as it was situated directly above Chungmuro Station, which made it easy for us to access the other spots around Seoul. The room itself had everything we needed. We would stay here again!

Clean and good room. Only problems I had were with the following: Check in - did not receive a voucher from Expedia to auto check in and needed to speak to reception. Elevator - only two elevators and lots of residents. It can take 15-20 mins to get an elevator. Laundry machine had no detergent to use and need to buy your own.

Location was amazing as it is connected to both Line 3 (easy access to Anguk / Gyeongbokgung) & 4 (easy access to Myeongdong/Seoul). While the toilet space is a little small, the room is big with a kitchen/washing machine and with a balcony space.

Easy to check in, convenient location. Quite noisy at night time since I could hear the sounds from the next door and upper floor

Hotels.com itinerary number was too long to check in thru kiosk(kiosk kept asking for 6 digits only vs hotels.com confirmation numbers are over 10 digits:((). Plus, No clear sign where the front office check in. I was too tired to deal with all the above. Frustrations!!! No one to ask about for 20 mins. Finally, gone downstairs and checked in. Upon checking in everything changed! Very clean, efficient space management + it has everything travelers need!!!

Property had all we needed. On suite laundry facilities were helpful. Very central location close to metro. Walkable to Gwangjang market. However air conditioning couldn’t reach the single bed very well meaning it was a little warm. Otherwise a great stay.

Convenient and clean

Really enjoyed my stay here. Rooms were large and clean. Great amenities including laundry and full size fridge! Lots of storage. Situated in the same building as a subway. Would definitely visit again.

Location, rooms all terrific. Booking in instructions were terrible abd led to a $125Aus taxi ride at speed

Overall the Homes Stay and Weco Stay property are so convenient. Although small and it can tricky with luggage, overall it provides all the basic necessities for living. I wish there were forks and knives along with the spoons and chopsticks. Definitely geared more to asian guests versus western guests. The power outlets are very limited. I suggest at least adding a power strip so people can charge other devices besides just the bedside. For instance there was no convenient place to plug in the water pot.
