Very convenience location in terms of transportation, walkable and selection of restaurants. It is about 10 to 15 mins walk to Lotte mall and centre of myeongdong .

The photos online are kind of deceiving

For what we paid, we found this hotel disappointing. Service was excellent, lobby was nice. However, the room had paint peeling off the walls in places, chipped furniture that was delaminating and grout peeling off in the bathroom. Maybe we got a bad room. Quite a lot of smudges on the walls and marks and stains on the walls. Would have expected more from a four star, but I'm not super familiar with Seoul. No view, just a tiny window overlooking a wall. I connected to wifi for the first time in 30 days and used a credit card that is almost never used. I was trying to find a card that would work in Korea. My credit card was stolen immediately, but it could have been the application I used.

Good place for few nights. Many good Korean BBQ places few blocks form the Hotel. Public transportation and air-porter just a block away.

We really enjoyed our stay at Sotetsu. It was a great location so we were able to hit the shops and food areas in Myongdong. There was lots to see within walking distance. Convenience stores were nearby as well which were great for food/snacks. We stayed on the Line Friends floors which was so cute! The room was very comfortable. Only issue would be not enough accessible power outlets to charge our phones etc. There were power outlets but they were mostly occupied with other things.

Excellent place. I like the Splasir in Dongdaemun better because the desk chairs there are more comfortable and there is a mini fridge in those rooms. That being said - staff here at Myeongdong are fab - and so is the location.

Centrally located near shopping and transportation. Hotel staff very helpful. Hotel is clean.

Great hotel, conveniently located to many central sights. Rooms are quiet.

Hotel room is clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. Location is near airport bus pick up stop ie going back to the airport but airport bus drop off can be quite tricky especially if airport bus driver transferred you from 6015 to 6001. If dropped off across the street, you will have to carry your bag/s thru the underpass to cross.
