首尔斯坦福酒店

The Stanford is a modern hotel located a 40 to 50 minute bus ride from the more touristy ares at the center of Seoul. The area is modern business and high rise residential area with nice parks. It’s a nice quieter area with lots of interesting modern sculptures and architecture. There are lots of restaurants and coffee shops near by. A 15 to 20 minute walk away is a busy older restaurant and bar area.

Hotel was nice and in a good location for where I was working. Only downside is the hotel has 2 restaurants. The Buffett was closed on my first night and private bookings for my remaining 3 nights. The Manhatten Grill was open but no staff. On my last night someone did appear but when I tried to order I was told no as my menu choice was for 2 people only and being on my own I couldn’t order it. The hotel heavily advertises both these restaurants but clearly not designed for hotel guests. There were food options outside but as temperatures were -13 and snow / ice i didn’t want to go outside…but had no choice if i wanted to eat.

This is my second time staying at the Stamford hotel, and it won’t be my last! this time I had a much larger room and it was very well appointed.

Too far from subway station

Nice hotel. Easy to get to with Airport Limousine Bus. It was in the area that I needed to be in.

I enjoyed the location of the hotel in proximity to my work, but my air conditioner didn’t work properly the entirety of my stay. I called about it, but it was never repaired. I am not sure if all of the rooms have a set point temperature that doesn't go below 25 celcius, but overall I found the hotel to be nice but a little too hot. The gym is also wonderful and so I would stay again- especially with the location and if they can fix the air conditioners!

Great room and facility. Walkable to restaurants/cafes/convenience stores. Front staff was very nice. I would recommend this hotel if you are staying around this area.

Business stay as had meetings in walking distance from this hotel - great location for what I wanted but hotel a bit old and tired - very nice staff

Fabulous

Clean room, hotel is in good condition. The location is good for business travelers. If you need metro, the closest and one is Susaek station. You need to walk 10-15 minutes. For bus 10 minutes (but you need to buy a tmoney card before at 7/11 or cu). We didn't take breakfast, so I can't tell anything. But gorgonzolla pizza in the bar is nice. Check-in and check-out is easy. You can find small korean and european restaurants and cafes near hotel.

There are hair in the shower tub. I think cleaning is not perfect. And staff in the fitness center is amateur so I can’t satisfy his service. Also room was a little cold.

Nice location. Quiet. Room was hot. Wish the AC could have been better.

Easy to access to other area

직원분들은 친절하나 냉장고 상태도 불량하고…..냉장고도 태이블도 여러번 물티슈로 닥아도 계속 찌든때인지 아님 태이블 색이 묻어나는건지 ….. 청결하지가 않았습니다… 꼭 태이블 닦고 쓰시길…

The room was outdated.

I stayed at Stanford Hotel for couple weeks because my office was right across the street. The hotel has very friendly staff and I had a pleasant stay. The property itself is not super shiny and new. But it has it's coziness, my room had a small balcony which was a nice surprise. It would have been nice if the TV in the rooms were bigger and also easier to connect with other devices. Overall it was a good stay and I would recommend for anyone who needs a hotel in this part of the town.

The hotel itself is great - clean, well presented and for us in a perfect location. The ONLY reason my review is not 5 * is because that both the hotel cafe and bar / restaurant was closed, but this was not advised before booking. Fully get the impact of COVID and how its not practical given the curfew there, etc. - but advise guests at time of booking!
