Bad service and accommodation for the price! For a new hotel the room is extremely badly designed. No socket for the kettle, constant buzzing sound from the electric box and poor drainage in the shower leading to a bad smell. Cleaning is also bad. Used toothpick found in the sink area and left there for four days. Mugs left unwashed. Coffee/amenities in the room not topped up. Breakfast is not worth the money and runs out of food at least an hour before breakfast is due to finish, staff very lazy and don’t attempt to top up the food or clear plates from tables (whilst eating food in front of guests). Same level of poor service was seen in the rooftop bar, with glasses all over near the pool. All staff need a significant amount of training to be at an acceptable standard.

Great spot

Room was new and clean However the room design is a bit odd. Bathroom has no door (a curtain), shower has a see through glass (no privacy), and shower area shape makes it too large, wasting space and making the rest of the room too small. Bed was quite uncomfortable - even if new - and so were the pillows (both me and my wife woke up sore) Location is central and easy to walk to the old town, but the neighbourhood and area where the hotel actually is (and behind the hotel) made us feel quite unsafe (to the point we took Ubers rather than walking a few times).

Struttura buonissima molto centrale ma lontano dalla confusione. Ottimo staff .

Loved the quiet location out of city center, yet still close to the more bohemian side of Bilbao. We thoroughly enjoyed it!

Amazing location and great staff

Personal amable y eficiente. Genial el Spa, pequeño pero completo. La terraza y piscina también muy bien. Volvería en próximos viajes.

Es war voll in der Stadt, da das Bilbaofest war! Da durch war es auch sehr schmutzig in der Stadt! In unserem Zimmer hat es während dreier Tage übel gerochen, was scheinbar dem angrenzenden Fluss geschuldet war. Eine Nacht vor Abreise wurde uns ein anderes Zimmer angeboten.

Fantastisk hotel. God beliggenhed, imødekommende og meget hjælpsomme og søde medarbejdere ved indtjekning og ud tjekning og alt derimellem. Eneste ikke så gode ting er at deres aircondition desværre for vores vedkommende lugtede af et par glemte fodboldstøvler. Men vi kommer gerne igen da opholdet var skønt.

Zona no muy recomendable. El hotel muy bien aunque las habitaciones muy pequeñas

We stayed for 2 nights at Axel Bilbao. Room was nice and spacious, especially liked the large shower. Location was convenient just across the bridge from old town. However, the streets right behind the hotel up the hill was sketch and didn’t feel as safe to walk according to taxi driver and we saw some fights break out among locals.

centrale locatie, mooie kamers en lekker dakterras met zwembad

Soweit alles in Ordnung. Wir haben nur einen Kleiderschrank vermisst. Ausserdem gab es an der Poolbar einige Tage keinen Sekt, somit auch keinen Aperol Spriz. Das fanden wir sehr schade.

Très bel hôtel avec un personnel serviable. Une belle Terasse avec piscine. Un petit déjeuner très agréable. Une déco moderne et jolie et un espace sport et spa top. Seul petit bémol, peu de rangement dans les chambres.

ein sehr schönes Hotel, gutes Design, teilweise aber etwas unpraktisch, wie z.B. nicht dicht schließende Türen am WC, viel zu wenig Abstellfläche im Bad, keine Haken für Jacken oder Taschen... Adults only heißt aber definitiv nicht nur "keine Kinder.".. eindeutig Schwerpunkt Qeere Community. Nicht unangenehm, eher lustig wenn man anstatt von Schokolade als Betthupferl Kondome hingelegt bekommt ;-)

Mooi hotel

Goede locatie, vriendelijk personeel, mooie kamer.

Leuk hip hotel, zeer fijne ligging: brug over en in het oude stadscentrum. Weg van drukte en lawaai. Wij hadden wel een kamer aan de achterkant met zicht op… een muur. Je kon geen lucht zien, niks van uitzicht. Dus best kamer vooraan boeken! Glazen douche in kamer dus als je geen koppel bent wat moeilijk voor privacy. Luidruchtige airco. Zeeeer vriendelijk personeel en erg goed ontbijt in fijne ruimte. Prettig dakterras met zwembad en bar. Leuk!
