Nicely situated within walking distance to the Town's main attractions and social hub.
Although it is technically a 2 star hotel, it does merit 3 stars in many ways. Discounted 'secure' parking is available only a short walk away (€10 for the night). Breakfast is simple but adequate and table served to you in the tiny dining room. Our room, while dull and dated did provide free WiFi (good speed) a flat screen TV - nice bathroom with excellent shower (very basic toiletries provided) plus a kitchenette with sink, hotplate and microwave. Some pots, pans and crockery were provided but no tea/coffee making facilities. Double bed was comfy and the room had adequate wardrobe space. Electrics were a bit dodgy however - loose or inoperative sockets.
Pets are allowed, which is why we chose this hotel and they only charged us €6.00 extra for our cat - but I believe this is a flare rate for any animal.
I'd say that the hotel is slightly over priced but you are within the heart of the town centre and pay extra for the location.
