Great location, easy check in and the riom was sufficient, not a great view but we hardly spent any time on the balcony.

Had nice sea view , breakfast good and reasonable, nice coffee, bit noisy from the road outside, at breakfast, staff nice and lady serving coffee was jolly always smiling .

A very basic clean hotel. We use it as a stop over so that we can spend a few days in La Cala before we start our holiday proper. Staff are brilliant. The small cafe at the front is typically Spanish full of locals and good value nice food. Outlook from street facing rooms does leave a lot to be desired. Easy access to all amenities.

Location was good but towels and bathroom are tired

when i lived in spain my wife and i have used this hotel whenever in la cala so convenient,good value for money now in uk, i still enjoy the fact that it is not over elaborate but all you need recommened

Conveniently located to main coastal trunk roads are f you plan to travel along the Costa del Sol. A pleasant A short walk to bars and restaurants. Do take advantage of the boardwalk from the town to Cala Honda. Every contact with staff was excellent. Always professional and friendly.

3rd time staying here. It’s a good option and close to everything. We had a room at the back so it was quiet. The 24hr reception is good. The only downside is that the rooms are not huge and there are no tea/ coffee facilities but you can request a small kettle at reception. Good value for money and would stay again.

This hotel is right on the coastal road between Malaga and Marbella. It is, however, quiet. Being in La Cala de Mijas it has loads of restaurants within a few minutes walk, and is a 5 minute walk to the very nice seafront.

Great value for money, easily accessible to golf courses and beside lots of restaurants and a Carrefour.

This is our second stay at this property in La Cala which is small and basic with no amenities; there is a café at street level which is very popular and useful with a varied menu for breakfast, lunch or snacks up until 4pm. However, the property is clean, staff (Daniel, Carlos & Albero) are very helpful, it is extremely well positioned, convenient and walkable to the surrounding areas or to access bus/train journeys further afield. We enjoyed our stay for 8 days and will hopefully be returning next year!

Only a one night stay and late check-in but the staff were very friendly on arrival and we would definitely stay again.

We wanted a two night stay in La Cala de Mijas and we knew the location of the Carmen Hotel. We arrived early and asked if we could leave our bags and the gentleman on reception was very friendly and said we could check in at the same time and our room would be ready a little later which was fine. Our room was spacious and very clean. We had breakfast both mornings which were cooked on request and was very tasty. Would certainly recommend to family & friends.

Vi bodde sex nätter och vi uppskattade det centrala läget och närheten till stranden. Det fanns gott om restauranger och butiker i området. Receptionen var bemannad 24/7 med ett trevligt bemötande.
