Having stayed there before I was pleased that I knew the area and felt very safe as an older woman on her own. Some areas need a makeover, the sun beds could easily have a good clean and would be serviceable and the room needs a good deep clean especially the bathroom, not just an everyday lick!

Nice hotel. Very spacious even for solo travellers. Room was clean. Staff was very friendly. Spar supermarket is just opposite and Mercadona is a 10min walk. There is also a bus stop next to the hotel. And one can easily walk to the beaches. Will book again should I go back

Had a lovely 4 night stay. Very convenient distance to the shops and beaches nearby. Lovely property with nice facilities. There were 2 issues. 1) towel rental deposit was €20, the staff got our room number mixed up and refunded this to the wrong guest. After querying this with the staff, they didn’t do anything. 2) no running water on our last night, told the staff and no one did anything. Other than that, had a great time.

Brilliant

Our stay was a lovely, really friendly, clean hotel in a perfect location. Our one negative was a strange smell around the apartments in the morning which fortunately went away later in the day. Didn’t bother us too much so didn’t complain.

Central location, walkable to wide choice of restaurants, beaches and marina. Ideal for couples wanting a relaxing break.

The staff at the D’or hotel was fantastic, they were always happy to help you with a ready smile. The hotel was super cute and the room was lovely . Sadly on our last day the water was cut off for a few hours and on the morning we left we had no water and we were unable to have a shower, clean our teeth etc.

I went with a group of friends for a de-stressing weekend. Great location, great pool and a great starting point heading into the lively town. Staff were really friendly and helpful. There was a mix of families and groups of lads and ladies but everyone was well behaved, got on really well.

Horrible experience with the hotel and the customer service of Expedia. Had a reservation with them for the 2nd to the 7th of April. Upon arrival the hotel was closed indefinitely, tried calling them for 4 days and there is no reply and the answering machine says the hotel is closed until beginning of April ( it is the 7th of April as I write this message). I have not managed to check-in or talk to anyone at the hotel since the hotel remained closed for my entire stay in Spain tried contacting Expedia for a refund but the customer service is terrible, they have not refunded me ( had to book another hotel on my own charges) and the only reply is that I should contact the customer service once the hotel reopens (how am I supposed to do that seeing that the hotel was supposed to be open when I had my booking with them?). Terrible customer support from Expedia and horrible experience overall! Will never use the platform again!

Loved the hotel. Atmosphere was nice and chilled. Breakfast was good , nice and fresh. Location was perfect. Looking to go back in September

Had a great time at the beach and in town . Everything was 10/15 minutes away . Great choice of local bars and restaurants

This hotel is in a perfect location! 2 minute walk away from centre of town and restaurants even so no noise is heard when trying to sleep. 5 minute walk away from beach which is stunning with white sands and turquoise sea. Spar literally across the road which is convenient when wanting snacks, drinks or any day to day items which you may have left at home.

A great hotel, very clean and tidy. The staff are very friendly and I would recommend this hotel highly. It's only two star but the location, cleanliness and staff make this a great place to stay. It's 4/5 minute walk into the centre of Cala'Dor with a mini mart across the road which stocks pretty much everything.

nice and safe area,clean room and bathroom,will come back soon,Hotel is in centre of Cala D'or there is no problem with transport to other amazing places.Staff where helpfull and polite aspecially asian girl who working night shifts ,and man who open door at night for us every night .Breakfast was ok too,is good value hotel

This was our 4th stay at this hotel and previously we would have recommended this hotel as previous reviewers a good budget hotel. I am not sure if the hotel is under new management but the rooms are looking tired and customer satisfaction is very slow. At our recent stay we had one problem after another cold showers, ants, a broken light, the safe not working and the maid forgetting to leave towels and toilet roll! You expect basics to be fixed quickly but it took 4 days to get hot water. The staff are friendly but the response you get is no else has complained and then to be told there is a problem with the hot water! I was very disappointed and will not be staying in this hotel again.

We have stayed at the Dor hotel three times, and would recommend it, its quite small the staff are very friendly, the breakfast buffet is excellent you have lots to choose from, you can always get a sun bed around the pool, the rooms are very basic and cleaned every day, towels changed every day, bed linen changed once a week. We will be going back there again.
