Great views, traditional hotel, comfortable and easy location for Alhaurín

The sightseeing was great. The personeel very friendly. The mattress was a disaster, very hard but maybe I,m a softy.

I booked a hotel with a pool and a restaurant. Neither were available for my stay, and should have been noted on the website for booking. The nearest place to purchase food was over 6km away, and this was noted after I had been drinking. If you can provide a breakfast, then it’s hard to understand why I couldn’t purchase any food during my stay.

La verdad que no volveríamos a este alojamiento. Desde el inicio todo fue nefasto, llegamos pasada la hora del check in y nos dijeron que teníamos que esperar porque la habitación todavía no estaba lista, ¿qué sentido tiene entonces que pongan un horario de entrada si hacen esperar al huésped? Estuvimos esperando cerca de 1 hora. Por no hablar del ruido que hay durante toda la noche, se sienten todas las cañerías y cualquier ruido de otra habitación, era imposible conciliar el sueño. También entran hormigas y se llena la habitación de ellas. La cama suena solo de mirarla, el secador horroroso... La limpieza un desastre, no hay cartel para indicar si quieres que te limpien o no la habitación, así que entraron a "limpiárnosla", lo pongo entre comillas porque lo único que hicieron fue tender la cama y poner papel. Por la mañana se me cayó un trozo de galleta al suelo recogi parte de ella, pero quedaron algunas migas, cuando regrese estaban todas en el suelo. La distancia al centro de Málaga es de 30 minutos en coche, algo con lo que ya contábamos. El camino hacia allí esta lleno de curvas y depende de donde vengas de caminos pedregosos, no hay posibilidad de pedir Uber y hay paradas de autobús, pero a saber cada cuanto pasan. Lo único positivo son las vistas.

Lo mejor:La vista....hasta casi el infinito.

Intressant byggnad med fin utsikt , ingen mat vid ankomst kunde erbjudas så fick åka iväg. Frukosten var en kaffe / smörgås. Tror det mer är en konferensanläggning/ event med bröllop etc. Men helt ok!

Shower water comes out all over the floor

Amazing little place. Fantastic rooms. Beautiful views. Very good quality service. Have not got a bad word to say about this place. Hope it can reach full potential after the Covid restrictions disappear.

Our room had only one outdoor chair, which was only fit for the skip, no room amenities such as fridge, kettle etc, vey basic and old fashioned.No evening meals available Plus side, sheets were fantastic

Beautiful location Pool was lovely No food at all though

A throwback to the glory of Spanish of old. A grand lobby and staircase with many old paintings and sculptures. The beauty of the hotel is only overshadowed by need of maintenance though the room and interior is extremely hygienic and comfortable. The staff cared well for the guests.

Le calme, la piscine très agréable en cette saison WiFi insuffisante

Un hôtel vieillissant, vide qui préfère organiser des réceptions de mariage plutôt que de bien traiter ses clients et de moderniser les chambres. Très bruyant (voisins, leur machine à laver ...)

Hôtel apaisant en hauteur avec une vue dégagée Propre, chambre confortable Piscine magnifique mais ouvre très tard le matin et est fermée les week-ends Excellent rapport qualité prix

Loved the ambience in the hotel and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Similar to UK guest house in facilities as no telephone in room or lift. Snacks available but no formal dining facilities which is a shame as Alhaurin is a 7 Euro ride away. Would consider visiting again as the staff's pleasant attitude makes the place.

Après avoir lu certains commentaires avant notre arrivé, j'en étais rendu à craindre un peu mon choix. Par contre, notre expérience a été tout à fait positive de A à Z. Le personnel ne parlais que l'Espagnol mais, contrairement a d'autres endroits, ils étaient aimables et faisaient des efforts pour qu'on arrive à ce comprendre. Les commodités étaient superbes et je n'ai pas eu de problème a ce que certains coussins n'étaient pas en place vu le nombre restreint de personnes sur place. On nous a aviser dès notre arrivé que le resto de l'établissement n'était actuellement pas ouvert (quoique je n'ai pas très bien saisi si c'était lié à la basse saison, ou le fait qu'on était un lundi soir) mais ils avaient en options des resto a proximité ou pouvait nous faire cuire des pizza congelé au bar. Vraiment gentil et serviable. La piscine est superbe et que dire de la magnifique vue! Un excellent rapport qualité-prix à mon avis. Peut-être que c'est différent en haute saison ou pendant des évènements mais je n'ai pas eu cette expérience.

Servitøren snakket ikke engelsk, jeg måtte bruke Google translate for å få kaffe og appelsinjuice. Frokosten var 1 stykke hvitt brød med syltetøy. Resepsjonisten snakket bare spansk.

I have used the Mirador several times over the last 20 years. It is ideal for a short break and is the least expensive place I have found around Alhaurin el Grande, so good value. Only simple meals are available in the evening - microwave friendly. There is no lift, so the single flight of stairs can be a problem.
