Plenty of shops and places to eat nearby, not a tourist area of Madrid so English was not spoken in most places we went to around the Hotel .. front desk personnel were fluent in English however so no problems there.
Breakfast was ok but very repetitive

Ganske fint nyoppusset rom med kjøleskap, rolig bakgård, stort og fint bad, og hyggelig betjening. Bygget er eldre, og det er veldig lytt mellom rommene, ut mot gangen og mot heisen man hører godt hele natta. Sentral plassering litt utenfor sentrum, med butikker og restauranter rett utenfor.
God frokost, men den siste halvtimen var det bare brød/rundstykker, ost og skinke igjen.

The hotel was generally good. The room was newer and more modern than it appeared in the photos. The cleanliness was satisfactory. However, in the morning, the staff chatted in the corridor for about half an hour and listened to something at a loud volume, which made it quite noisy. As a result, I had to wake up early. In addition, the hotel is also conveniently located, with a bus stop right in front and easy access to the city center. Overall, I didn’t experience any issues apart from the morning noise.

Very close to metro. Around 100 metres. Good dining options close by and plenty of cafes. Hotel was clean and staff friendly. Mine was a small room but as a solo traveller was great!
