Hotel is very near metro with 5 mins walk. Staffs are nice and helpful. Just shower system has some problem but they fixed it as soon as possible. If I go to Madrid again, I will try this again.

Wooden floors create a huge amount of noise from other rooms. Chairs moving, footsteps, banging around, doors creaking and slamming. Carpets create a calmer less noisy, more comfortable atmosphere. I must also have had the water pipes coming down past my room as I got the whoosh of water coming down from above when someone presumably uses the shower or toilet.
I asked to move rooms as a result and this was actioned for me without hesitation.
Nice hotel overall and the room I had in the end was quiet and relaxing but it could have not been relaxing stay if I’d have stayed in my original room with all the noise.
