El hotel olia bastante mal. El elevadoe tambien. No habia suficiente iluminacion en la habitacion. De hecho no hay luz como tal. Sino unas lamparitas. La unica razon por la que pongo este review es para ver si se esfuerzan. No ponen jabon tampoco. El desayuno muy basico tambien. Cafe, yogur y bolleria nada mas.

Great service from Stephanie & Soban at reception, extremely courteous and helpful. Central location. Shopping and food within walking distance .

Non c'è la TV, appendi asciugamani, phon, molto semplice.

Good value, fairly basic but with all that was needed - quiet, dark rooms, air con, decent shower and good location. Would stay there again.

Steps away from La Rambla. Next to Barcelona's opera house. Breakfast was super-continental, including cold cuts, cheeses, and Spanish omelet.

This is a well kept, old hotel. Old elevator but modern bathrooms. Staff was friendly, helpful and courteous. Overall, nice hotel for 1 or 2 nights.

Clean but really old....... Not enough light throughout hotel so very dark! Convenient location though!

Great situation, wonderfully quirky and lots of character. Bed very comfy., shower room en suite very good although tiny shower so maybe difficult for the larger build guest! I imagine it could be a little noisey if very busy as no soft furnishings or carpets to dampen the noise but on my stay all very quiet and peaceful. Staff very helpful. So close to Las Ramblas and almost opposite the side door of the Opera house. Will definitely stay there again on my next visit. Excellent vale for money.

Very reasonably priced, right off the Ramblas. The street seems like it's a slightly seedy area, but not unsafe. They have wifi in the courtyard and lobby, but not in all the rooms.

3호선 리세우역에서 리세우극장 방향으로 나와서 이스탄불 음식점이 보이는 골목으로 150미터쯤 들어가면 있다. 방은 꽤 깨끗하고, 주요 관광지 가깝고 역 근처여서 좋았다. 단, 로비에서만 와이파이가 무료이고, 호텔방에 콘센트 한개, 욕실에 한개 밖에 없어서 불편, 오래된 건물이어서 약간 쾌쾌한 냄새, 헤어 드라이어가 없다. 그것 외에는 비용대비 괜찬다.

The room can not be called a hotel room it is more a servant quater. Hotel is noisy as the guests sits in the courtyard untill late at night. Hotels.cm should not have this hotel on the list especially at that rates. This was the most expensive hotel we stayed in in our 2 week trip and by far the worst!

Hotel très bien positionné dans la ville et chambre au dernier étage sympa. Le seul problème était l'isolation phonique des chambres

I like this hotel and will go again. its conveniently 200m from Liceu metro and 10 mins walk from the Airport bus stop at Placa Catalunya. You can walk to most of central Barcelona tourist attractions from the hotel. I know this place wont be to everyone's taste. It's a converted monastery and the rooms were originally the monks cells, so they are not massive or lavishly appointed. They are clean, and have a shower or bath ensuite. Downside, no tea/coffee making facility for guests, but then you have bakeries, supermarkets and tapas bars within a few doors where you can get a drink for a Euro or two. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The central courtyard is a nice place to sit. There are some great places to eat and drink in the surrounding streets, and this side of the Ramblas around Raval area is a bit less touristy (and less pricey) than the Barri Gothic. Check out Ramblas Raval and the streets north and west of the hotel for decent nearby bars/restaurants.
