Very professional counter service by a good management team and villa itself is a well maintained old building .

Clean, quiet and couldn’t be more central. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was very comfortable and quite spacious for an old city location.

O hotel é super hiper bem localizado. Confortável, porém o piso de madeira faz um pouco de barulho, o que dá um ar de antigo… o café da manhã é bom!

Wonderful kind people in a beautiful setting. Immaculately maintained. Would highly recommend! Only advice is if possible don’t go for the downstairs room (unless there is no choice) - it’s small and more suited to one guest rather than two.

The front desk staff, Cristina and Sandra were absolutely amazing! They answered many questions, made festival and location recommendations, and even assisted with obtaining a taxi. They both provided professional, friendly service with expertise and kind guidance. It was a wonderful stay!

I loved this hotel. It is quaint with traditional details. The young ladies who work at the front desk are the most welcoming, charming hostesses! The beds are older but we still slept well. The location was wonderful. The only difficulty is getting your luggage to the hotel but you can avoid this problem by arriving when taxi’s are permitted on the street. I did not but I would still return and drag luggage through the historic area to be greeted so kindly.

Lovely boutique hotel with good breakfast and comfortable rooms. There is a nice reading area on a separate floor Folks were just very welcoming and friendly. Loved the views. Great bed.

Excellent can't be beat. our second day

I stayed at the Hotel Rua Villar during the nationwide power outage. The staff were so amazingly helpful, going above and beyond. I don't often write hotel reviews, but the kindness and excellence of the staff was too good not to mention! Thank you to all at Hotel Rua Villar - I look forward to staying with you again!

Bell’hotel in una ottima posizione Personale molto gentile Ero già stata qui l’anno scorso e mi ero trovata bene Questa volta però la camera era all’ultimo piano un sottotetto/mansarda caldissima e anche aprire il vasistas non ha risolto il problema Peccato perché per il resto è un ottimo hotel ma purtroppo con quelle temperature diventa difficile dormire
