- just 2mins walk to the beach, great location
- 2 pools in the hotel-one for adults and one for family. Both of them are nice
- a lot of choices for breakfast, but better to have it before 9.30am otherwise outdoor seats are full
- the room is large, bathroom is perfect
- friendly and helpful staffs, they helped us to print our boarding pass for free

The staff was very receptive and friendly, the location is very good , just near the beach, the view is beautiful. One thing we don’t like the most is toilet and bathroom are not properly separated from the room

The reception staff were friendly and the room was spacious. Being right next to a beach club, it is not the most ideal location if you’re looking for a quiet getaway. Had a really awkward and uncomfortable last night at the dinner buffet and the staff were unapologetic about it. I will not be returning.

This property is fantastic!! They had really good music, rooms were very spacious and clean, the balcony was really nice and relaxing and in a perfect spot. Staff was always helpful and attentive. The gym was very handy.

Great location. Easy access to the beach. Great staff and service. Next to Nikki Beach with great music all day.
I was not happy that there was no chair in the room and extremely small balcony which could not hang bathing suits to dry.

Loved it here! It was the perfect location for us to stay our entire stay in Mallorca and did a d ay trips to Sòller area and another day trip to Santanyi area!
Buffet breakfast is absolutely amazing! The pools are lovely, stage is friendly, rooms and facilities are as they look of the pictures!

It’s simply not acceptable for guests to monopolize loungers by tossing a towel at sunrise and disappearing for hours. A fair system should allow a short grace period—30 to 45 minutes—after which staff clear unattended chairs and neatly place belongings in a designated area. This ensures everyone has an equal chance to enjoy the pool without playing a daily game of “towel wars.

Got a call from staff about a noise complaint around 1400 that wasn't us. The staff proceeded to threaten us with security after i politely informed them they had the wrong person. Told them they could come see for themselves and continued to be rude. Also gave us the wrong room even though i paid for a better one. The area is beautiful but the cleaning people would come into our room when i had the do not enter sign on the door

Melia South Beach and Melia Calviá are basically 2 buildings but the same resort. The rooms are nice and clean and housekeeping is great. The location is wonderful with the beach and restaurants all right there. Very walkable. We purchased the half board option meaning breakfast and dinner were included. I would only buy the breakfast option in the future. The only dinner included was the buffet and the Calvia and it was not good. We only ate there 2 out of 6 nights and it was not good. They also charge you for drinks at this dinner, even water! I felt nickeled and dimed - we paid for an all inclusive dinner but we had to pay 8.50 EUR for a bottle of water. Also it wasn’t clear that the only included dinner option was the buffet so we went to the seafood restaurant the first night, only to be given a large bill The pool area is very nice and clean. You must put your towels out very early or you will not get a lounger. We ended up purchasing the double sunbeds for 60 EUR per day so we had a place to be. There are only 7 of them and they sell out. I booked them our last days ahead of time. They won’t be available on the same day. The breakfast buffet was really good with lots of options. You can get a taxi to Palma for 45 EUR and the front desk will call them for you. The oceanfront room was very nice but it said there was a balcony but it was only a few inches. The Calvià looked to have larger balconies that you could walk on. Book the calvia and use the South Beach pool.
