Hay ciertas cosas que hay que mejorar.... señalización a recepción y a la piscina, mantenimiento de las zonas exteriores y limpieza en general ...no estaba sucio pero la limpieza no está al nivel de un hotel de 4*

This is a very nice hotel situated below the castle and above the town og Xativa. The service is really good, and the staff are friendly. We really enjoyed the breakfast buffet and the laid back atmosphere of the hotel. The room eas clean with a spacious bath and great air conditioning.

Charming property on the road up to the castle in Xativa. The room was clean. The amenities and service are both a bit lacking. There was no water or coffee maker in the room. The pool area is lackluster (only 4 or 5 cheap lounge chairs, no drinks or towels available; you have to bring bath towels from your room to pool). Fine for a one-night stay.

Loved the property and location. Awesome pool. Will definitively go back some time.

Hotel muy bonito ubicado en un entorno privilegiado, en plena naturaleza. Se respira paz y te despiertas con el sonido de los pájaros...una delicia! Personal atento y muy agradable. Habitación grande, cómoda y muy limpia, aunque en la que yo me alojé necesita una actualización. Por lo demás una estancia perfecta. Totalmente recomendable.

Clean room with extremely comfortable king size bed. Lovely balcony to sit on with great views all around and there was a great selection of different teas/coffee with kettle. Fridge with mini bar and free water which was daily replenished. Towels for swimming pool provided which I made good use of. Swimming pool entrance was sticking so hard to get into pool and had to get help. Staff were very helpful and friendly especially in reception, but occasionally hard to find in the bar and eating areas. Breakfast plentiful, but second time used, we were unable to get orange juice. Restaurant menu a bit rich and not varied enough for our taste and unable to just get a snack unless ordered to your room outside of mealtime hours. Beautiful location and easy to get to the castle from this hotel.

There was a cockroach in the bathroom which I photographed . Staff in restaurant definitely need training as rude and unprofessional and not able even to explain contents of a cheeseboard . Charged over 5 euros for one slice of bread which was described as bread basket With a lot of trouble we were anke to Rebe the second slice

We booked this hotel at the last minute and were so happy we did. The location is perfect, the setting is magical, the staff is great, the facilities are very nice, and the restaurant is excellent.

ENDROIT MAGNIFIQUE - JUSTE DEÇU AU NIVEAU DE LA RESTAURATION LASAGNE DE CANARD ??? VRAIMENT PAS TROUVÉ TRACE ET GOUT DE CANARD ET LE SERVICE AU RESTAURANT TRÈS DECEVANT PAR RAPPORT À LA PRESTATION DE L HEBERGEMENT. JE RECOMMANDE L HERBEGEMENT SANS HÉSITATION MAIS PAS LE SERVICE AU RESTAURANT.

Nice hotel with lovely gardens. It was very hot & humid when we stayed but they have a pool. We had an excellent dinner in the very nice dining.room. A 5 course tasting menu. We would have eaten on the terrace but it was too hot.

Perfect mountain getaway

The check in was fabulous and we had a lovely room (Room 1) that actually has a kettle! We had a terrace with views of Xativa Castle and also the town and valley, all framed by pine and cypress trees. Deb had injured her knee so was able to sit on the terrace, read her book and chill as we watched the sunset. We had breakfast both mornings at the hotel and the breakfast was fabulous and we ate far too much delicious food. After breakfast I had a wander around the grounds. The views really were spectacular, especially with the early morning mist, and you could see sections of the town walls stretching from the valley up to the castle. We ate one dinner in the hotel as Deb had already perused the menu, although I was somewhat sceptical. There were weird things like sea urchin, pig's ear, lamb gizzards and duck liver but I opted for sea bass and Deb had rabbit lasagna. The food was just magnificent. Right from the bread and olive oil, with the type of oil and its characteristics being explained to the main course and desserts there was nothing I could improve upon. I had two desserts - a cheesecake and a hazelnut mousse and both were fabulous. We left feeling full but not bloated, a lovely way to round off Deb's birthday. Our room was fabulously quiet, service throughout the hotel was impeccable, the room had modern heating/cooling if needed and a modern bathroom. Amazing

Pros: - Staff were very friendly and welcoming. - Room was very clean, spacious and nicely decorated. We had a lovely view from the terrace of the castle. - Pretty location surrounded by nature. - Walking distance to castle and town. - Free parking. Cons: - Bathroom had a strong drain/sewage smell after using shower and sink. Window is difficult to open as it’s very high up. - Pool was not open during our stay (February) which we were aware of during the booking process but I would say that it looked quite underwhelming. - We booked a table for dinner at the hotel restaurant noting that they had paella on the menu (we don’t eat meat but everything else). When we sat down at 8.30pm, the waiter said that they don’t ‘normally serve rice in the evening’, so immediately our options were very limited as the menu is very meat heavy. The restaurant is only open between 8.30-10pm so it was too late to go anywhere else. We ordered the only two fish main dishes on the menu, as they were also out of the red tuna starter. Both dishes were very underwhelming and over priced. They were luke warm at best and one of them was completely raw / inedible. The dessert was also awful. The only other table in the restaurant also had issues with their food and sent it back. The waiter was really apologetic but the chef was obviously having a bad night. The hotel kindly removed some of the cost of this meal as a result. Overall: nice hotel with potential to be better, but restaurant lets it down.
