Very poor choice of menu for half board . Irish bar food of very basic standard. Inedible. Blue Terrace excellent - but a very restrictive menu for a 5 day stay. Rooms refurbished without an eye for detail . Some dated and unreliable plumbing. Water completely off one evening without warning. Drain smells . Poor bathroom lighting. Noise from room above etc Impressive public areas but lots of maintenance issues . Not a 5 or even a 4 star hotel .

The property needs some updating. Areas showing wear and tear need to be fixed. Not a 5 star property. No bath mats, only 2 towels, no in room safe, no coffee machine. We could not use the A/C since entire hotel was still on heat and we were told that the hotel was either one or the other. Being 25 celcius out, couldn’t understand why the heat would still be running. Staff seemed pre-occupied and not particularly motivated to help. Property also understaffed. We were told that outdoor pool was heated, but it was ice cold.

Large well appointed hotel on the Mar Menor Golf Resort. Spacious clean, very large rooms with large bathrooms. Close to all facilities and the restaurants and bars on the strip.

Vi hade ett fantastiskt rum och fantastiskt utsikt

The room was very tired looking with fittings coming off the wall (like the towel hook), the bed was very uncomfortable (it felt like it hasn’t been replaced since the hotel was built…), and the room was unbearably hot, with no possibility to change the temperature apart from switching the heating off. All of this made us check out after only one night. This was very disappointing as this stay was to celebrate our anniversary.

Definitely NOT 5 star...might have been 20 years ago but not now. Finishes thruout were worn and out of style.

Instalaciones de 5* pero servicios de 4*. En la habitación no había ni zapatillas de cortesía ni albornoz para bajar al spa. El papel del WC es de pésima calidad. No hay body mil en el baño y los amenities para una persona solo. El bufé del desayuno bueno pero no para un 5*. Variedad justa

Das Frühstück war sehr spärlich, Zimmer bis mittags nicht gemacht, danach waren wir wegen schlechtem Wetter im Zimmer, Neue Handtücher gab es dann nicht mehr. Meine Tochter wollte Golfstunden nehmen. Die beworbene Telefonnummer des Golflehrers an der Rezeption war nicht erreichbar und man wurde auch nach hinterlassener Telefonnummer nicht zurückgerufen. Zimmer waren großzügig.

Very clean and friendly staff.

This hotel is claimed to be a 5 star hotel which it’s definitely not. The staff in the reception where welcoming and nice but the breakfast staff all looked pissed off. I rank this hotel as 2-3 stars tops and here’s why: 1. The room is spacy but the bathroom comes without lotion and separate shampoo and conditioner. The have a shower gel that is all in one - that says a lot. 2. The fitness room is falling apart. They Didner even bother to refill the water. The machines are worn out and the free weights go to 12 kg only. The warmup machines, 50% did not work at all. No music in the fitness room. No staff that took care of it. 3. The hotel has spa in its name. In the indoor pool area its water leakage and not all chairs have pillows. The water was not warm, at most is was lukewarm. The hot tub was also just lukewarm and 1/2 was broken. The steam sauna was broken and there were almost zero slots available for massage even though the hotel was almost empty. 4. The breakfast has zero luxury and they did not refill fast enough for people to get what they wanted. It felt like bed and breakfast.
