parking garage expensive

Nice hotel, big rooms, parking on the street is easy to get.

Very nice facility, just need USB ports for charging devices.

Not a UK standard 4 star hotel. Air con didn’t work properly, the bed for the children was a pull down sofa which was very uncomfortable. Not a great choice on the half board evening meal menu. Wouldn’t stay again

The sauna and spa was closed and No complimentary beach shuttle as promised. Very disappointed because that’s reason I originally booked otherwise it was not worth it. I would like a refund

Checkin was ok, staff is multilingual We didn’t use the paid parking as you can park outside Lift wasn’t working on our arrival, our bedroom was at the fourth floor!!! Our bedroom was flooded, it was raining very badly so we requested another one and had to go downstairs again (no lift, remember?) Change was quick In the second bedroom, the stovetop wasn’t working, the furniture and bathroom were outdated and we had only two towels for 4 guests. There was a dishwashing kit, very useful. Spa facilities are very outdated too but massage was great, the sauna wasn’t working. The lift wasn’t working again so we had to go through the service stairs to get to our bedroom. Access to the pool is 8€ for the whole stay. Breakfast at the restaurant was ok but could be better, on the second morning the microwave and the toasters weren’t working either. Pool table wasn’t working in the reading room, sliding doors of the main entrance were out of service too. The hotel is close to PortAventura, Tarragona and Salou, so very well located but deserve a full revamp and complete refurbishment. Too many things weren’t working even if the price was affordable. We always book 4-star hotels but this one was by far the most disappointing and doesn’t deserve this ranking.

Great stay but nothing to do around the area

This is good stop on the way from UK to Costa Blanca, we have stopped several times, nice and easy. Restaurant nice and staff good and local there are has plenty of bars to eat if you want something outside. Very near the motorways AP7 and A7

Spacious apartment for family of 4, with 2 twin beds and bunk bed, basic kitchen facilities, relatively modern bathroom, issues with flushing the toilet. Restaurant within hotel, good breakfast buffet.

Requested double room and in a very impolite way was told I will noy have it

It was a fine stay for a night.

The room is clean and tidy, the bed is a bit uncomfortable though, we stayed in an apartment which comes with a small kitchenette, kids sleep in the sofabed and the adult sleep in 2 single beds combined as a double bed. you do need a car if you want to stay here as it is quite far from Port Adventure.

We had a lovely time, staff really friendly, there is even a shuttle taking you into Salou a couple of times a day for free (wish we'd known that from the beginning!!!!) The town is really Spanish, no English translation on manu's etc (which we liked) made us realise that we really need to brush up on our Spanish!! :-)

bed was uncomfortable and sofa was smelly. disappointed that the restaurant /bar had less than average food for dinner but there were good restaurants nearby. the room door was damaged which made me feel unsafe.

Very close to portaventura theme park and Salou. Hotel was very clean

Nice hotel, decent standard. Accomodation: enter into a kitchenette with kettle, microwave, stove top and fridge. You must request kitchen cooking/eating equipment which is delivered to room. This leads to a childrens sleeping area with bunkbeds and a large sliding door into a larger bedroom for adults and the ensuite. Bathroom was very good. Hot shower with lots of pressure. Plenty of towels and shampoo/shower gel. Hairdryer in bathroom. Had power cut whilst cooking spag n meatballs so we were moved to apartment next door which was slightly different as it had 2 separate beds. My daughter preferred this as she banged her head on bunk a few times as it was low. Disney channel on tv can be changed to english language if you have right remote control (Samsung) must have 'tools' button. We swapped them over from 1st room to 2nd as 2nd room had different controller! Hotel is on a roundabout, on same roundabout is a Spanish supermarket, bit closer than Lidl and Aldi. Excellent driver of courtesy shuttle bus to La Pineda beach and Salou called Sergio. He spoke flawless English and answered all questions. The rooms wee not quite spotless i had to clean kitchenette before use and a few earwig type thingys were about at times. Nothing a shoe didn't sort out though. Olga on reception was very helpful when we discovered we had left our return Ryanair boarding passes in the 1st room and kindly printed off new ones for us. All in all a pleasant stay.

Overall it was a great holiday, but the hotel would of not of been the highlight. Thought the hotel was clean and had 24/7 service, the staff were polite, but not very courteous, and sometimes felt forced to help rather than wanted to. the air conditioning in the room did not work, and with high temperatures, i was pretty unpleasant to sleep at night. The beds were not that great, facing slight back and neck problems, but nothing severe, just would of liked a softer pillow and bed. Overall the hotel is by far not the best we have stayed in, but it was a reasonable price and location so we settled for it. do not think i will be returning to that particular one, but i know mercure has done us well in the past in other locations.

Staff were very friendly. Hotel and rooms were very clean . Great location for Ferrari land and other theme parks.

Berry good staff frendly and helpful

Hotel conveniently located away from from the hustle and bustle of Salou. The Family rooms were of a good size and had a small kitchenette. Only thing that was lacking was nice TVs/DVD/Media player. No English channels not even BBC World News. Wifi good. The outdoor pool was a good size, but can get busy in the afternoon. The Indoor Spa pool looked nice too. Did not eat in the restaurant, so can't say what the food is like. Three supermarkets within a 10 min walk and a few restaurants in the very near vicinity. Good value for money overall.
