Ainhoa, the proprietress, greeted us warmly upon our arrival, and made sure we were comfortable using the keys to unlock the exterior gate, entry way, and our room. She even lent us a prepaid card for the local busses so we could get around easily. The patio where breakfast is served each morning is surrounded by plants. The room was air conditioned, and very comfortable. There are only 6 rooms in this boutique hotel. Breakfast was prepared for us each morning at our reserved time. Homemade jams and jellies, and fresh-squeezed orange juice. Located in the old quarter, it was an easy walk to the Silk Market shopping district, and Plaza Nueva, where the local busses and taxis are located. Many interesting restaurants are located nearby. We ate at “El Agua” for lunch one day, and it was delicious. It was about a 30 minute walk up to the Alhambra, or you can take a local bus. Ainhoa recommended several local walks, and they did not disappoint. We enjoyed our 2-night stay and would love to stay again in the future! Highly recommend it!

La struttura si trova in una zona centralissima e storica, un po' complicata da raggiungere ma che merita assolutamente la permanenza. Arrivando in macchina e prenotando in anticipo, è possibile parcheggiare in un garage vicino, al prezzo di 20€ a notte. L'accoglienza, date anche le poche camere, è quella deliziosa e casalinga di un B&B. La nostra camera era molto graziosa e spaziosa, con bagno con finestra ma senza bidet, purtroppo non scontato in Spagna. Altro dettaglio mancante era il televisore, del quale però non si sentiva la nostalgia: tempo permettendo, la zona è incantevole, e la sera è piacevole passeggiare per vicoli e negozietti ed ammirare il panorama sull'Alhambra che fronteggia la collina. Ottima e genuina la colazione, non a buffet, ma più che sufficiente a sfamarsi. Viene servita nei tavoli esterni, e comprende caffetteria preparata sul momento, spremuta fresca di arancia, una fetta di dolce, terrine con burro e marmellate, tutto di ottima qualità e dall'aspetto fatto in casa. Completa il tutto una parte salata, con pane ed un piatto che il primo giorno conteneva alcune fette di salumi e formaggi, il secondo una fetta di torta di patate. Nel complesso accoglienza, colazione e posizione, nel centro di una città bella come Granada, rimangono nel cuore

Super nice and cosy place in the middle of the old district. Close to walk to town and for us to walk to Alhambra. Very helpful staff that even went beyond to make sure they found some vegan options for the breakfast (which was cooked just for us). Highly appreciated ❤️ Nice little inner yard that you can relax in. And good warm shower (we were there in March). The rooms aren't that sound isolated but the others guests didn't make a lot of sound after ten so it didn't bother us.

The property was beautiful.

Great location and really friendly staff. The included breakfast is nice, while being quite small. The hotel and area is very quiet, perfect to get a good night's rest. The view of the Alhambra is limited, but not really necessary as there are plenty of opportunities to have tea/coffe/drinks/food while enjoying the views all around the albaicin.

Bel accueil et de bons conseils. Chambre tranquille et propre. Agréable de pendre le petit-déjeuner dans le petit patio. Pour l’arrivée et départ avec la ou les valises, il est pratique d’arriver et repartir en taxi, peu cher du bas de la ville, au vue des pentes et rues pavées. Sinon tout à pied pendant le reste du séjour ça se fait très bien.

Nuestra experiencia en la Posada de Quijada ha sido excepcional. Destacan las instalaciones, las cuales son más que confortables y agradables, y la ubicación del lugar, en pleno corazón del Albaicín, ajeno al ruido de coches y grandes avenidas, pero con una ubicación excelente para conocer los encantos de Granada a pie, desde la Alhambra hasta el barrio judío, pasando por la Catedral y el mercado árabe. Además, cuenta con el plus que le da a este establecimiento Ainhoa, que hace que te sientas como en casa y te asesora de manera inmejorable en relación a restaurantes, visitas, rutas por la ciudad. Y por si esto no fuera suficiente, prepara unos deliciosos y saludables desayunos que puedes tomar en el patio de la posada. Sin duda, una experiencia que no dudaremos en repetir en nuestra próxima visita a Granada.
