We had a wonderful stay at Room Mate Mario. The front desk staff were very professional, welcoming, and always ready to help with directions and recommendations. There was a drinking water available for guests upon check-in. The hotel was very clean, quiet, and housekeeping did a great job maintaining the room every day. Breakfast was excellent with a good variety of choices, and we really appreciated the long breakfast hours from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM, which made mornings very relaxed. The location is fantastic—right in the center of Madrid and within walking distance to major attractions like Puerta del Sol and Royal Palace of Madrid. There are also plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby, making it very convenient for meals anytime. We also enjoyed walking/shopping along Gran Via during the afternoon to closing time as it is also very walkable to the hotel. Overall, a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Madrid!

Sehr gute Lage, bequeme Betten, gute Zimmerausstattung, etwas hellhörig. Das Frühstück 7-12Uhr ist gut und ausreichend, Buffet wird regelmäßig nachgefüllt. Freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Wir haben uns im Room Mate Mario sehr wohl gefühlt.

Room was generally excellent. Let down by the tiny shower room/toilet. It was also poorly designed and you could not close the door and open / close the shower door. Also badly designed so water from shower soaked the floor and into the room. Pictures for all rooms on thier site show a regular bathroom/shower room. Our Executive King has a tiny space no more than 1m by 2.5m Rest of the hotel seemed good.

The hotel staff were really good throughout, but the hotel itself could use a refurbishment and has really bad/non-existent soundproofing. The general location is excellent, but the specific street is really noisy and the windows do not stop any of the noise - in particular, the little supermarket next door makes so much noise throughout the day as they bring stock in and out. I would stay there again, but I think I would check out some of this brand's other locations first.

La chambre était mignonne, le lit super confortable et il y avait beaucoup de rangements (sauf la salle de bains). Le seul hic a été le bruit : au 2eme étage, on écoutait les pas des voisins du dessus et on écoutait aussi les allées et venues dans les couloirs. Léger problème d’isolation.
