I cannot overstate this: if it weren’t for Sleep & Fly at Barcelona Airport, I’d be writing this review from the outside of my departure gate, watching my plane disappear into the clouds. The rooms are modern, spotless, and surprisingly quiet for being right inside the terminal. The bed was incredibly comfortable — so comfortable, in fact, that I managed to sleep straight through my alarms and woke up ten minutes before my flight was scheduled to leave. In any other hotel, that would’ve been game over. But because I was already inside the airport, I grabbed my bag, sprinted about 100 steps, and somehow made it onboard. Check-in was quick, the staff was warm and helpful, and the convenience is unbeatable. No shuttle, no taxi, no 4 AM wake-up calls — just pure, stress-free travel (even if you accidentally cut it dangerously close). If you have an early flight out of Barcelona, staying here is a no-brainer. It’s the difference between sipping coffee in your airplane seat and crying into a vending machine sandwich in the terminal.

This took all of the stress out of our trip. The hotel was on premises at the airport, had good wifi and a breakfast included. We were so happy we didn't have to pay for a taxi into the city and could spend our limited time between flights sleeping, having breakfast, and getting ready for our transatlantic flight.

This was so perfect for a long layover. Follow all their directions for how to find the hotel - it’s tricky. But well worth it!
