This hotel is located and shared with an apartment building. The elevator is extremely small and it’s not really for those who don’t have a physical strength. The concierge is delightful and has helped us with many things. The rooms are very clean small sort of no-frills, but it’s centrally located And you will love the concierge. He’s just a very unusual human being.

This hotel was just perfect! The location is phenomenal. It’s close to everything and has a wonderful old Barcelona vibe. We enjoyed the nearby restaurants that were right around the corner. The shopping nearby had a unique vibe with character. We shopped at the vintage shop and the handmade leather bag store almost across the street and could not have been happier with our experience. The room is small, as are most in desirable locations in the city, but the amenities and comfort made it pleasant. We didn’t see much of the staff, which is great for us. They checked in with us on arrival and let us be. Instructions were easy to understand. If you’re looking for a great experience and location, this is the perfect place.

Very walkable to many things. However, the neighborhood was very loud.

Joe, the owner, is hands on and very accommodating. Location is fabulous. I have stayed there in 2023 and 2025. If in Barcelona in the future, I will stay there again.

Clean room, WiFi, host, private bath

This hotel was in a good location. My reason for it's rating is that they said that someone would be there until 8pm but we didn't see anyone the whole time. They also had no blankets just a sheet so it was cold. Also if you don't sleep well it is noisy.

Quirky cool place to stay, very clean and great being in gothic quater

Great location in central Barcelona, air conditioning welcome and stunning room with two balconies. Our host was very responsive, helpful and accommodating.

One elevator that barely fits 2 people. 4 flights of f stairs to reach entrance. 1st night no hot water. Next day there was no water. Bed was hard and concave. We only had a sheet for cover on the bed. Requested one blanket and did not receive. Towel hook falling off wall. Shower soap dispenser falling off wall. No sound barrier, and you hear everything. Hard to sleep.

We really enjoyed our stay. The location is fantastic being in the Gothic district you are right in the middle of all the action. Our room was clean and comfortable and the hosts were great having free water and other goodies for everyone to enjoy.

We were greeted by Joe and he was super friendly. Our stay was nice. Would come back again

バス、トイレは室外にあるが、共通スペースの廊下を通って別の施錠された専用室が用意されているので、自分の道具も保管できて安心でした。チェックイン時間に少し遅れてヒヤヒヤしましたが、何とか受け入れてもらえほっとしました。直前にメールで時間外の入室方法などが送られてきましたが、ネット接続の準備ができておらず、危ないところでした。旧市街の真ん中で真夜中までその雰囲気を味わえ、とっても楽しめました。

We really enjoyed our stay here and actually extended an extra evening. The staff was great and responsive. We love the location. We could walk everywhere and there was a bike rental across the street. Room was clean, love the way it was decorated, and loved the balcony. Only downside was that there was construction outside our window which was , but I expected that was a temporary thing so not a big deal. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice property with a small elevator for convenience. Close to many shops and the beach. The room had amazing AC. Although the room was petite with a small Juliet balcony, it was enough for a two person stay looking to know the city of Barcelona. I’d consider getting hotel style towels, a small fridge for guests, and more movie options.

GREAT: LOVED the shower. BAD: No internet. Room so small couldn't open the doors to the balcony all the way. Air conditioning not good. Towels scratchy. No kleenex just toilet paper. We arrived without information about how to get into the hotel. Luckily after trying everything a young woman who speaks English helped us as they had received the email we had not.

Fantastic

I recently stayed here and overall, the experience was okay, but not what I paid for. I specifically booked a double bed room and was given a single, which costs less. I’m still waiting on a reimbursement or even a partial refund, which hasn’t been addressed yet. That was disappointing and felt unfair. The room itself was decent, not bad, just not what we expected or reserved. The location is definitely a plus, very central and convenient for exploring. The room had a mini-fridge which was useful, but there was no microwave, which made it harder to prepare or reheat any food. The staff did try their best and were kind, but there seems to be a general lack of organization, which I’ve noticed during my time in Spain overall. I really hope this issue with the room and the refund gets resolved.
