After checking in, I found out the air conditioner was not working and the window could not open. So there was no ventilation at all, and I required change to another room. The staff just gave me a fan and said all rooms were occupied and asked me to tolerate it. I already explained to the staff that there was a bad smell inside the room and no ventilation was not acceptable, but the staff insisted not change room for nor do refund. I said i will call police for help, as I really could not accept to stay overnight in this condition. then the staff suddenly said will change room for me. so at last changed room, but the experience was very bad and unhappy. and for that price, i would say there are much more worth-valued options nearby. so NOT recommend!!

Location was really excellent: 1min walk from Metro station Liceu, 5min walk from Plaza Catalunya with Aerobus & many bus stations, 3min from supermarket Carrefour, right opposite to the market Boqueria. La Rambles was prolly tourists' best pick to stay with convenient access to everything. Front desk staffs can speak good English & were helpful in answering travel tips. Don't expect to live in rooms you saw from the photos. I mean they looked the same but felt totally different when you were there. Photography skills were excellent. Single room was really small I hardly find a spot to open my suitcase. Bathroom was not quite encouraging to enter. Dare not talk about the blanket... If I were to visit Barcelona again, would rather add some money for a better hotel room.

Just in the Rambles, opposite side of market. Very convince to find restaurants and daily necessarities. However,, their room air conditioning was very poor and I need to open my mini fan in the first night. Although the staff were very kind and tried to fix up the problem. I could only enjoy a cool night out of 6 nights. Maybe this is good hotel except in hot summer

A equipe muito receptiva , no quarto o ar condicionado não funcionou . E dava para ouvir o barulho dos outros quartos. No geral a estadia foi boa.

Adorável escolha no centro da cidade , nem localizado na av Ramblas , em Frente marcado boqueria , ótimo atendimento dos funcionários, quarto e banheiro ok , super recomendo. Segunda hospedagem neste hotel, pra mim excelente custo benefício

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour à standbyme ramblas, le personnel était très accueillant et aux petits soins, les chambres sont propres et confortables, et l'emplacement est juste top, au milieu de la ramblas ce qui offre la proximité à tout les lieux touristiques (quartier gothique, plaça catalunya, la plage barceloneta, sagrada familia, etc...)

Love the location to be at the centre of La Rambla. Busy, lots of people but the hotel is safe and quiet. I booked this last minute and I’m thankful that we did took it. We were well rested the next day. Love the morning view by the balcony. Had the best empanada from a walking distance stall from the hotel. Will definitely book back!!
