*Cons: 1. No free internet in the room. You have to pay for internet per day and per device, and the prices vary. 2. Not enough hot water. The hotel booklet says the hot water boiler is 40 liters. It is not even enough for one person to take a shower. I had no hot water while washing my hair. You cannot imagine how cold it was, especially since there was a winter wind storm that day. By the way, the water is yellow in color. * Pros: 1. Good location. There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel, which can take you to most major tourist attractions, although buses may come only every 20–30 minutes, or sometimes even every hour. 2. Fully equipped apartment with a fridge, stove, knives, forks, plates, etc. * Neutral stance: 1. No air conditioning, only a ceiling fan. The weather changed quite fast, one day crazy hot (we were melting), one day with a wind storm (quite cold). 2.Room and equipment overall are quite clean but there is someone white hair everywhere.

Ok for a night stay over but apartment was very outdated. Most of the main lights didn’t work and no aircon.

Ok rooms but no aircondition, extra for internet. So not the greatest but OK.

A great hotel offering a central base for Playa de las Americas and Cristianos, both offering restaurants, shops and bars galore to suit all tastes. The hotel is basic but is always clean, comfortable and has lovely helpful staff in reception and pool bar which is very popular.

The Whala hotel is an excellent choice for couples, families and groups.The location is central for Americas and Christianos offering beaches and restaurants to suit all tastes. The hotel is welcoming with helpful staff in reception and the pool bar.We had a great stay and will be back in a few weeks.The rooms are always well cleaned and have good facilities for a comfortable stay.

Stayed in Whala for our last night in Tenerife. Hotel offers value for money and has nice pool/bar area. Reception manager was extremely friendly and although we arrived 10:30 am he could offer us our room immediately. Then helped us out the next day with luggage. The rooms are a bit old so guess rennovation is needed. It was extremely warm during the night but we managed with fans in the ceiling, AC would have been preferred. But all in all we had a good stay.

Its basic and a decent option for the price. We did not have issues finding sunbeds or anything like that. Very few rowdy people either and the pool is big. Aircon needs to be rented Same with towels(u get money back) The biggest con is the hotel is old and in need of an upgrade. But if u are comfortable with something simple and a bit dated(but clean and nice personel) this is a good option

Sauberes Zimmer, nicht wirklich modern und für einen so hohen Preis echt nicht wert. Internet kostet extra.

Läget bra, poolbarens personal fantastiskts. Receptionens personal 2 toppen trevliga 2 har lite att jobba på. Mailade dem så fort jag bokade detta hotell ( ca 4 månader innan) om önskemål på rum våning 2 eller 3 och även då jag hade gjort två bokningar blev jag lovad att få behålla rummet hela tiden. Rummet jag fick låg på våning 1 , jag fick byta efter jag frågat i receptionen dagen efter och rummet som jag blev lovad via Mail att få behålla hela vistelsen ( frågade även halvvägs in i resan ) och det skulle gå bra. Sen kom dagen då den nya bokningen skulle börja och fick då veta att jag skulle behöva byta rum trots allt. Lägenheten som vi fick var toppen men tyvärr förtogs det av utcheckning och sendan en väntan på 2 timmar innan vi fick den nya lägenheten. Och mitt i detta har min dotter fått lunginflammation. Ingens fel såklart men det hade sparat orken med en flytt mindre.

It was fine. The room was a bit tired and would have been nice to have a couple of English TV channels but it was fine.

Je n’ai pas pour habitude de donner des notes mais cette fois ci je me permets de le faire car l’hôtel est affreusement bruyant pour les raisons suivantes : rue passante et mauvaise isolation, voisins bruyants (musique forte, discussion toute la nuit sur les balcons, portes claquées jour et nuit, nombreux bus dans la rue…). Il y en a même qui se permette de sonner à la chambre la nuit. Autres inconvénients : - absence de climatisation et du fait du bruit il est impossible de dormir la fenêtre ouverte. - piscine et bar ferment beaucoup trop tôt (19h), ce qui me parait trop tôt lorsque l’on est en vacances. - propreté moyenne : rat dans le couloir (2 fois) et changement des draps trop rare quand on est à la mer (on ramène du sable). Gros point positif : le personnel est très agréable, très sympathique et très serviable ce qui est très plaisant.

Everything was ok. Swimming pool pretty cool. The only things I didn't like: you have to pay for using WIFI inside the room and for using the safety deposit box.

I came her by myself for a 6 day solo trip. After reading other reviews I was expecting loads of teenage groups and loud music all night long, but it honestly wasn’t that bad in my opinion. There were a lot of teenagers but I didn’t find them too annoying but I‘m also still young so that might be why they didn’t bother me. There was also some music at night but nothing you couldn’t ignore. Really liked the small apartment, lots of space, definitely too much for only one person but if you come here with a group I suppose it should be perfect. The pool area wasn’t super big but still very cute and enjoyable, with a little bar where you could get drinks and food. Staff was generally super nice and always willing to help, especially loved the people working at the bar!! So overall a really nice experience, probably a better fit for younger people though, unless you’re not easily bothered by noises and teenagers :)

For what we paid the hotel is outstanding, the Guy on reception is super friendly and very knowledgeable about the local area,, he can’t do enough for you. The hotel is really relaxed about bringing your own drink etc to the pool. The pool bar is superb and very reasonable cost wise. The location is fantastic, especially if you’re on a budget, very clean and the water in the swimming pool is immensely clean and warm in the bottom pool! Those wanting to cool off chose the top pool. We will definitely come back every year as this part of Tenerife is fantastic… thank you for a lovely stay
