We truly enjoyed our stay in Carnation rest. The room was spacious with a separate living area that make it very comfortable. The staffs were very efficient and friendly. They even offered to wash our clothes which was very nice. Breakfast served in a cute little room and was more than adequate.

10 mins walk to town. Very close to Pizza Hut & Dominos. Dark and gloomy property which appeared not to have received any investment for many years. There were a lot of flies in our room and in the dining room. Laundry was being dried in the dining room.

A very nice inn midway between the town and the lake. A good simple breakfast, very helpful staffe and comfortable common areas.

Small hotel that some how provides comfort to weary travelers

Charmant petit hôtel dans une petite rue. Chambre très confortable, literie impeccable et, cerise sur le gâteau, une couverture moelleuse et chaude. La salle de bain est nickel. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et complet.Le personnel est adorable, aux petits soins. Nous avons été accueillis avec du thé et des petits gâteaux. Grand merci !

Wir haben 2 Nächte in diesem kleinen Hotel übernachtet und waren sehr positiv überrascht. In unseren bislang 4 Unterkünften auf Sri Lanka war dies mit Abstand die Beste. Das Haus wird mit Liebe geführt, es ist sehr schön dekoriert und es gibt überall tolle Pflanzen. Die Lage ist ruhig, aber alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind fußläufig zu erreichen. Unser Zimmer war groß und schön, hatte einen kleinen Schrank und einen großen Spiegel sowie genug Ablageflächen, die in anderen Unterkünften häufig nicht vorhanden sind. Das Bad ist sauber, und gibt warmes Wasser. Die Betten waren super bequem, wir hatten in unserem Family Room zwei Doppelbetten und ein Einzelbett. Es gab extra warme Decken und wir haben - trotz kühler Außentemperatur - nicht gefroren. Das WLAN ist super schnell. Zudem war das Frühstück wirklich toll, es gab sowohl Dhal als auch Omelette, frisches Obst, Jogurt und Toast. Am zweiten Morgen gab es statt Dhal Coconut Pancakes ;-). Die Besitzer sind super nett, der Sohn spricht sehr gutes Englisch und hat uns netterweise noch mit seinem Auto zum Busbahnhof gefahren. Wir können die Unterkunft wirklich besten Gewissen weiterempfehlen!

The welcome tea was so heartwarming. Their staffs are really nice and one staff helped us a lot to decide what to see and where to eat in. The breakfast was also nice. You can feel like at home in this hotel.

Excellent stay which was fairly central. Good parking as well and staff were very friendly and gave us great suggestions on what to do. Breakfast was also great - would defintely recommend this plave to stay.

We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. Originally a booking for 2 nights, they made sure we could stay in the same room. Clean and convenient. Good breakfast or breakfast packs on the go. Extremely helpful and friendly staff, always looking after us.

宿の方々が大変フレンドリーで且つ親切でした。ウェルカムドリンクに紅茶とカステラを頂きました。到着時少し疲れていたので有り難かったです。 ロケーションが良いです。バスターミナルから少し離れていますが徒歩圏内、その分静かで落ち着いた雰囲気です。グレゴリー湖も徒歩圏内、近くにスーパーマーケットやレストランもあります。 建物は少し古いですが清潔です。部屋に窓付きのバルコニーが有ったのが嬉しかったです。 アメニティは少ないですが値段を考えると妥当だと思います。ドライヤーはありました。 朝食はコンチネンタルタイプです。

Wonderful, kind and helpful host, who arranged trips for us at very resonable prices. Accomodation is basic but very clean and comfortable. We had a little sun room on the side of our room which was lovely to sit in and drink tea.

Amazing place, fantastic service, kind people. Our stay was our favorite in Sri Lanka because the staff was so kind to us. My husband I were not well when we arrived and they took such good care us, sent us to the doctor, asked about our health everyday and very sweetly packed us a breakfast to go on our very early morning train. We will stay here any time we come back! Also loved the abundance of hot water and lovely shower pressure. Sometimes those little things make such a difference!

Cozy and spacious rooms that give off a cottage vibe. Located in the city, within walking distance from Victoria Park and different dining options. Breakfast was provided, and the staff were very friendly and eager to help.

I had a great experience with this family-owned place. It's very clean and safe, and the staff was extremely helpful. I'd definitely recommend it for solo travels.
