Very satisfied with this hotel, very nice room with a balcony overlooking Kandy. Very nice fresh breakfast included. Staff vey pleasant & helpful.

The hotel over looked the lakes so you needed a tuk tuk when you went out but hotel staff arranged it for us. The staff was very friendly and helpful I would go back again if i stayed in Kandy

Pros: beautiful view from private balcony over the lake, relatively quiet, AC worked well, airy dining room with big windows, pool. Breakfast is fine. I ate one dinner there, Chicken Korma, which I enjoyed. Staff were good. Arranged good transportation. Cons: No wifi in room, up a small road and a bit out of the way, 20 minute downhill walk to town on busy road, a few guesthouses within walking distance for dinner. Pool was a disappointment because it is surrounded by walls and doesn't get sunlight.

Comfortable hotel with nice clean pool. Great views but too steep to walk to city. Need a tuk tuk. Breakfast very good. Room had a nice balcony with views of the city and lake. Very good value for money.

3 nuits passées dans cet hotel difficile à trouver, forte déception .les chambres sont salles, salle de bain odeur de moisi, piscine coincée entre 4 murs eau pas nette ne donne pas envie, le café du breakfast a le goût de l'odeur de la salle de bain: moisi.service par un très jeune garçon à tout faire ( y compris bruler les plastiques sous la fenêtre de la chambre)au pantalon aussi sale qu'un garagiste .Evitez.

The hotel stands at top of the hill so the views are perfect. The common areas such as couch and pool were very comfortable. Breakfast was also nice with good nature surroundings. It is a little bit had to access on foot to the hotel but we felt it was very small thing.

We stayed for 3 nights and the staff was courteous, food options limited for a vegetarian but plenty for non vegetarians. Hotel neat and clean and probably new (jan 2016). Nice lounge at first floor. Wi-Fi was not connecting at top rooms but I didn't mind. Walkable to kandy city center and tooth temple. The walk is beautiful. Walkable to lake too. But tuktuk costs a lot from here - standard 300 Lanka rupees from anywhere. You can save that by walking downhill but you need a tuktuk while coming back to hotel as the road is steep. Hotel is also located a bit hidden from the main road so some tuktuk don't know the route. Once you check-in you can figure it out easily next time as the deviation is right next to a school.

The hotel is in an elevated position with fine views. The staff were friendly. We were put into room 1 next to the reception. This room was damp, the refrigerator was black with mould and there was no kettle or tea making equipment and the bathroom required a good clean. We asked to be moved as we were staying for 3 nights but could not be moved until our final night. We were then moved to a room with a balcony which was as described in the hotel information which we were pleased with. When we left we asked for a refund which we received.

We had difficulty finding this hotel as the google map had it positioned at the wrong end of the road. The manager was friendly and welcoming. The hotel was quite noisy due to wooden floors and echoing.
