I wanted to crash a few hours before my flight but the music wasn't turned off until 10 pm. There was no shampoo and the bathroom window did not close. The room appeared old and used. Proximity to airport is great however. No elevator - so carry your luggage.

This hotel is conveniently located near the airport and we used it for our last night in Sri Lanka. The view to the lake is amazing and we liked the room a lot, big and comfortable. After reading the reviews we had sent an email asking specifically for a room that wasn´t too close to the restaurant, because of the noise of the live music. When we arrived, we received a room which was exactly over the restaurant terrace... But the music did stop at 22h30 and it turned out to be a good concert.

Good place to stay if you have an early flight.

The price was good and the view from the hotel is good. Convenient location. At the night over the weekends it’s get very noisy because of the restaurant downstairs. Breakfast can be improved a lot ( Variety is very less). The toilet had a bad smell.

Very (Very) loud until 11.30pm (or until we fell asleep), music stops AROUND 10.30pm but people still sing and doors slam... The room is very nice and clean. Although only 1 toothbrush for a room of 2..... Pick up and drop up from/to the airport are included in the price and the airport is 10min away: so very convenient.

Hotel is small but the room is very comfortable and modern. We were on the ground floor right behind the front desk and our patio opened up to the restaurant. There was a three piece band playing till 11 pm so it was noisy. Also the main road is very close by. Food was delicious but the service was okay. Large portions so one serving of fried rice or noodles is enough for two people. Early morning shuttle to the airport was punctual and free. Good place to stay if you have an early flight. Lagoon is picturesque. Reasonable rates.

Ok first, bad things. Booked the room via Expedia, about 1 month before arriving, paid in full. Specially requested a 2nd floor room on booking time, called the hotel reservation executive personally and reminded about my request, about the top floor room nearly 1 month before. Informed the hotel via FB chat about 1 week before about the top floor room. But on arrival, they have given all the 1st and 2nd floor rooms, only got a ground floor room. With all the noise in the restaurant and music and shouting and whatnot. The noise went up to 11.20pm. please don't reserve a ground floor room unless you can bear the severe noise. Nobody helped us with the baggages. I have to carry each and every bag from the vehicle to the room. Ordered dinner to dine in room, but took more than one hour to arrive. Yes, more than one hour. Had to remind them 3 times regarding the order. Breakfast was a small fruit plate, bread and butter and a glass of cordial. That's all. No bed tea nor tea served at the breakfast. The good, Room was comfy and clean. Dinner was tasty.

Free shuttle to the airport, breakfast ok, rooms clean and modern, small but fine for 1 night. Well worth £30 a night.

Om je vakantie te eindigen is dit een prima hotel, om te beginnen niet als je gelijk actief wilt zijn, in te beginnen wel als je wilt bijkomen. Locatie is vlakbij het vliegveld, maar 5 km van het centrum, dus je moet elke keer met een tuk tuk. 1 nachtje en gaan, niet leuk voor langer!

For short stay it is a good place.

I don't know how this hotel has such a positive rating. No hot water in the evening or morning for a shower. WIFI in my room only worked when I stood next to the door, and even then it was a very weak signal. The restaurant was actually like a nightclub with very loud, live music until 11:30pm and even after that it was loud until well past midnight. When I called to reception to ask how long it would go on for, they hung up on me. If you're looking for a hot shower and decent night of sleep before a flight, forget about this place. The breakfast is very simple but tasty, and the free airport shuttle was helpful. But it did not make up for the lack of basics like hot water.

I arrived at 11:30pm then called the hotel but no one answered. I couldn't find the hotel for hour and half. Finally when I got there no one was at the reception. There is as a security guy. After waiting one guy came down stairs wearing shorts and he was sleepy and very rude. No one to help with the bags had to take stairs no elevators. I didn't feel comfortable or safe to stay there so I left. I went to Negombo and found Golden Sands Hotel. It was like night and day difference. Staff at Golden Sands were very polite. Dress very nice. I was glad that I found a hotel at 2am on that day.

Hotel is close and convenient for an overnight at the airport. All new facilities and staff are first class. Food is good, but expensive. Location is only 5 minutes from airport. It is between the lagoon and the main road, with a great view of the lagoon sunset. Unfortunately road noise is a factor for rooms on the road. Rooms on the lagoon side are glorious.
