Some lights are not working inside the room. However staff is friendly. Prices are affordable and the location is good too.

Die Lage über Kandy ist super. Die Ausstattung der Unterkunft wäre gut, wenn nicht die Matratzen in den Betten vom Material her so wären, dass sie bei jeder kleinsten Bewegung nervige Geräusche von sich geben würden. Da wir zwei verschiedene Zimmer hatten, scheint das Standart zu sein. Das Frühstück war das schlechteste auf unserer Reise. Uns wurde jeden Tag Toast mit Marmelade, Würstchen und Omelett vorgesetzt (Omelett schmeckte). Tee kam immer nachdem man fast fertig war mit essen. Der Saft schmeckte sehr chemisch, war vermutlich aus einer Packung. Es gab kein Obst. Die Verständigung mit dem Personal auf englisch war schwierig. Die Jungs waren zwar grundsätzlich freundlich, machten jedoch auch mehrere Fehler, die uns letztlich störten. Wäscheservice wird nicht angeboten oder arrangiert. Cool war, dass wir unser Gepäck zwei Tage zwischenlagern konnten, um zum Adams Peak zu reisen.

Sijainti oli harjun huipulla useamman kilometrin päässä keskustasta. Näkymät oli hienot, mutta jalan harjulle kapuaminen sai paidan märäksi. Lähellä oli pieni minimarket, mutta ei muita palveluita. Majatalolla oli oma ravintola, mutta se oli kiinni molempina yöpymisiltoinamme. Huone oli ihan ok. Se oli aavistuksen kulahtanut eikä suihkussa ollut tarjolla shampoota. Huonetta ei siivottu kahden yön vierailumme aikana. Pistorasioista suurin osa oli mallia M, johon yleisimmät adapterit eivät sovi. Saimme lainaksi yhden niihin sopivan adapterin.

Traveling solo. Stayed for two nights. Good price and breakfast included. Very polite and friendly staff. Owner, Dan, is very friendly and helpful. It’s on a “steep” hill and about 3.5 kilometers to Lake Kandy—-a good distance for walking exercise. This is probably my most favorite and the best budget hotel I had stayed in. Strongly recommend it.

On a hilltop overlooking Kandy, the Jack Tree Lodge is a delightful place to stay.

We arrived later in the evening but the staff were friendly, attentive and helpful, serving a delicious dinner. The hotel has wonderful views across the hills surrounding Kandy. A great secret hideaway.

Jack tree lodge is a nice place to stay, the owner is very nice and the staff too, we felt home. They offered breakfast every morning. The location is a 15 minutes walk from the city which was better for us. The rooms have a nice view. The only disadvantage in Kandy is that almost everything closes around 10 pm so nothing much to do or places to eat.

We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is a little out of Kandy main centre which is a good thing as it is away from much of the pollution. The room was in fair condition and very clean. We had a nice balcony with views over Kandy. The bathroom was clean and toiletries were provided. We had no fridge but the owner kindly allowed us to put some drinks in his fridge. The owner was a very kind and courteous man and he served a delicious breakfast both mornings, the Sri Lankan breakfast was especially good. Only a 15 minute walk into the centre of Kandy, a good supermarket at the bottom of the road that sold cold drinks, beer etc and a good selection of groceries. I would recommend and I would stay there again if visiting Kandy.

I stayed here as my stop off in Kandy during my 3 week trip around Sri Lanka. I loved everything about the hotel! Lots of space within the rooms and also in the restaurant and lobby areas - also a beautiful balcony overlooking the mountains. The rooms are spotlessly clean and modern and the service from the staff is also very good. An incredible restaurant on the same street called Licensed to Grill, also highly recommend! The only very minor negatives I would say is that it’s a bit far away from Kandy centre for transport purposes and the staff weren’t available as much as I’d hoped - I had to go searching for them a couple of times with my queries. Overall though, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay!

We stayed one night and the hotel was very nice and clean, the staff was very kind and friendly. Can only recommend.

Booked and paid for the luxury triple room in April 2018 via /Expedia. Contacted the owner via Wotif on 2 separate occasions leading up to the stay to confirm various details and received responses. Phoned 1 hour prior to arrival and were provided with directions. Arrived to be told they didn’t have a booking for me and hadn’t received confirmation so I wasn’t booked in and my room was already booked. This was despite me providing them with a physical copy of the booking. Ultimately had no alternative to leave. Kandy was extremely busy and fortunately we had a driver as had to try 8 other hotels before we got a room. Very appointing. Do not recommend stand here due to owner dishonestly and blatant lies.

Excellent petit-déjeuner SriLankais, cuisiné sur place. Chambre triple spatieuse, bain et douche, air climatisé et ventilateur. Parfait comme point d’ancrage pour visiter les environs. À 200-300 LKR de Peradenyia ou Kandy, vous allez adorer!
