Once again I was very happy with the Jetwing brand’s seemingly unique capability to perfectly blend a rustic ambiance with modern comforts. Jetwing Yala is a beautiful oceanfront property that serves travelers exploring the Yala National Park. The road up to the hotel immediately emphasizes that you are in a jungle with its unpaved dirt road that leads to the parking area where the most friendly staff help unload bags and facilitate the check in process. The staff made us feel right at home as soon as we entered the modern open concept lobby with is indoor outdoor design. They also helped with arranging the safari ride into the park. The room was very comfortable with a balcony with an ocean view and a bathroom that boasted a shower with an ocean view. The breakfast buffet was convenient and delicious with both European options and traditional Sri Lankan fair. The dinner buffet also had many options especially for dessert. The infinity pool was a definite highlight with its expansive footprint and beautiful blue water. There pool area also offered entertainment in the form of families of monkeys that roam around the outskirts of the property. There is also a poolside bar and the South frog is a must have after a swim. The spa was also a wonderful experience and they even have a superstar massage for kids which my 10 year old daughter thoroughly enjoyed. All in all, we had a really great time at Jetwing Yala.

Das Zimmer war sauber. Frühstück und Abendessen war gut. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich den Pool. Dieser war sauber und sehr groß mit einer integrierten Bar. Das Fitness Center war relativ gut ausgestattet. Wir hatten sogar das Glück einen Elefanten am Strand zu begegnen. Auch da war das Personal sehr hilfreich und sagte uns, wie wir uns zu verhalten haben, damit es nicht gefährlich wird.

This resort was the perfect as Tay in every sense if you're going on a safari. The rooms are beautiful. The staff very friendly. The outlook is delightful. And the swimming pool is exceptional. After a long day at safari and you just want to have some lux, coming back to this resort was amazing. Buffet was ok. 6100 lkr per person. It was good enough. The inside restaurant just lacked atmosphere. Beautiful design. But no atmosphere..... Would I go back. Absolutely with no hesitation Thank you Jetwing

Superb stay at the Jetwing. Every single staff member was unfailingly courteous and kind, helping make our stay really memorable. A special shout out to Chef Chintaka and Chef Induni for accommodating all our food requests and even concocting special meals for us. Absolutely amazing people and delicious food. The rooms were spacious, beautiful and very comfortable. It was great to be able to walk out to the beach and enjoy the environment. We have nothing negative to note and if you're considering this place, don't hesitate. It's not the cheapest option in Yala, but it's proximity to the national park and the level of service makes it, in our opinion, the best choice.

Schönes gepflegtes Hotel essen je nachdem wie viel Leute da sind entweder Buffet oder Set Menü beides sehr gut einzige Minuspunkt im Speisesaal und auch in der Bar ist es sehr kühl aber man kann gemütlich draussen sitzen und nicht zu vergessen der super Pool

Absolutely loved this hotel, wish we had more time here. Outstanding service, pleasant staff and fantastic surroundings. Our room overlooked the ocean and it was lovely to watch the monkeys bounding on the balcony and the properties. The bathroom had an open air concept and you could look at the stars while you shower. The hotel is built sympathetically to the surroundings. Good choices for breakfast and dinner buffets. Great base for Yala safari. Even with early starts you could request a packed breakfast. Pool area is lovely and we enjoyed drinks at the swim up bar. Cannot recommend this hotel enough.

What a beautiful hotel / resort. To our surprise the beach water is unsafe for swimming but the pool makes up for it and then some. Beautiful grounds, had an elephant at the reception on the first morning before leaving for our safari. The buffet has a huge selection, also à la carte possibilities. We did a couples spa package and that was also great and not ridiculously priced. The only sad thing and this is no reflection on the hotel is that if you are going to Yala to see leopards you odds or very slim. There are way too many jeeps that even if a leopard was spotted you would probably not see it.

Impressed with the quality of the buffet food. A lot of variety. Espresso machine was part of the breakfast buffet. Bathroom was impressive, large area and open, but covered with a roof. We loved it. No mosquitos seen, so a relief. Very happy with every aspect of service. Large, glass, water bottles in the room for drinking. Great location for the safari, very short drive away. Saw an elephant outside the room in the evening. Recommend the hotel and visit again on another visit.

the property was beautiful, rooms were clean and staff very friendly. we were lucky enough to see an elephant walk through the resort. the resort organised our safari to Yala and its a great experience the driver/guide was very knowledgeable and made the experience. we also did the dune dining experience which was magical and the team made it so special. would recommend this resort and would come back here again
