Great hotel to stay right near the Colombo airport. Perfect for a long layover.

Worndown, former Eastern German, hotel in asia…. Crowded by mostly super tacky Russian tourists and low cost airline staff… Pictures on Hotels.com must be from previous century!

Old property and need upgrades.

We decided to stay here to be close to airport prior to our flight and pay the upgrade for transport to airport. In that respect, this hotel did help us be close to the airport and the transport to airport was seamless. In addition, the people were extremely friendly. However, the rest of the stay was lacking. This was rated a 4 star hotel, but I think it is more a 3 star hotel. Our toliet didn't flush properly and the bidet hose leaked when we flushed. This was even more problematic because I got sick with food poisoining from the hotel buffet the night after eating there right before our flight. I did see some bugs in the room. The pool and amenities look much nicer in the photos than in real life. I wish I loved it because the people were so nice, but I would not go back due the above.

The hotel reception never picknup the phone, had to transfer my own bags on departure. They missed my wake up call lucky my wife woke me up. Wi fi very poor in room

Great place if you have an early flight from Colombo. Takes about 10 mins in the hotels free private taxi service. The buffet was extensive and cooking good. The rooms were spacious and modern with a shower

Very quiet, more walking areas outside the hotel also good house keeping service. Food is good.

Great hotel with good service. Several shops and restaurants in the hotel complex. Big nice pool. Service was on top and nice with pick up/ drop off service to airport.

Best hotel I’ve ever stayed in!

Arrived late after a long day flying. Check in was as swift as it could be and we were soon in our room. Clean and cool with comfy beds, toiletries available, water, etc. what more could you need for a stay between flights? Breakfast was delicious, plenty to choose from. But oddly tea was not readily available though they brewed a pot when I asked. The staff are all so lovely and extremely helpful and friendly. Laying by the pool is bliss (still here!) and they’ve given us a complimentary late checkout as our flight isn’t until this evening. Only downside is that no-one was there to meet us at the airport as promised. Our original flight was cancelled, I messaged the hotel with new flight details which was about 3 hrs later than the original, but never got a response so I assume it was not read. It meant after a long day of traveling we had to figure out how to get someone to come get us which frustratingly added another 40 minutes to our already long day. But overall would highly recommend this airport hotel.

It was a brief overnight stay, but we were received at the airport and escorted to our rooms. Staff very friendly and helpful in the morning organizing long distance transportation at short notice.

Staff are incredibly friendly

It was a comfortable property to stay at especially if you're looking for something close to the airport. The only thing that could have been better is the play area near the swimming pool for children. It was not maintained well enough.

Booked a suite for family of 4 for 1 night before flight back home. Bed linnens were extremely old and rough, couch had some pretty extreme stains on them that made it highly questionable to sit on it. Not enough bottles of water for basic hygene. Staff were very poorly trained at check-in, took forever to get room key and the woman had no idea how to use a card machine and had to be requested to give me my card back.

The hotel is ok for convenience, but needs a lot of maintenance…
