唯一的问题是离市区比较远，到酒店已经很晚，没有足够时间享受度假时光，算是美中不足吧。而且酒店附近的著名景点有限，只好再驱车赶回市区。

Price pool-bar, restaurant for lunch-dinner very expensive

The check-in process was easy and quick and the reception personnel was highly helpful (Mr. Bashar). The room given to me was on the 1st floor, which was not convenient for my family since the windows were not reflective from outside and you could be easily seen from the pool side. I asked for a room change and the reception was very accommodating and moved me to a higher room on fourth floor immediately. However the room was not ready or cleaned properly before it was given to me. The bed duvets were smelly and had yellow spots, the floor was dusty. This was fixed after i informed the room services to do the required and clean the room. The food buffet at Samba was good however the space was small for such a large resort. Swimming pool was great with the lazy river and lots of games and activities. The hotel has a good football playing area. The hotel also offers internal tours to the car museum and the Frankincense Garden. I would greatly recommend the Frankincense tour with Mr. Khaled Al Ameri, who is great tour guide and makes the tour really enjoyable. Overall, the resort is nice and good place to spend some relaxing time with the Family, but i would say value for money could be enhanced and make it better, especially when comparing to other Shangri-La resorts.

We really enjoyed the resort. The service was excellent and the staff very friendly.

This is a resort that is best suited for a family get away. It is a great place to go and detox from the chaos of the normal rat race and have beautiful bonding moments with the family. We took the kids for a 5 day break and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Great location, easy access to sister hotels. Good restaurants. They need more beach beds and umbrellas on the beach.

There are 3 different hotels within the property. Didn’t realize it at booking. Not a 5 star hotel.

This hotel has a spectacular location but feels a little dated and tired. The rooms are comfortable but need a remodel to keep up with the rest of the UAE luxury experince. The food is ok but fairly mid for what you pay (the prices are very high, feels like airport rules as there are no other choices nearby) the amenities eg gym, tennis courts, pool and lazy river are great. I think the kids club needs a revamp, feel more like babysitting vs a kids club experience. I would have loved it to have more of an Oman vibe, felt like any hotel around the world. I do think any luxury hotel brand that comes from the UAE will outpace this place very quickly if they dont update. I strongly recommend getting a cab to Oman Mall, great shopping and food choices. Snow Oman was a must do experience, especially to have dinner with the penguins, it was a highlight of the whole trip. Would visit Oman again but maybe find a different luxury hotel next time.

Weather was great for December. Staff was super nice. Location is excellent. Good snorkeling and other water sports.

Had a great stay here. Staff was helpful and friendly and the breakfast buffet was lovely.

The hotel was amazing with the best staff ever, every attention to detail was catered. However it did get boring only eating in the same restaurant every night. There were no evening activities on offer so be prepared for many early nights. On the upside - the gym and spa is fantastic.

Le personnel était extra surtout Den qui était au petit soin. Par contre je n est pas aimé le faite que l hôtel de base réserver était en travaux que je n est pas était prévenu et que pour aller dans l autre Complex il fallait rajouté un supplément alors que c est de la faute de l hôtel de ne pas avoir assuré la réservation de base déçu pour sa .heureusement que il on un personnel très gentil et au petit soin mais en se qui concerne le côté comercial du manager c est vraiment à revoir
