Nice centrally located hotel Clean and quiet. Just what you want.

We were lucky enough to get the Christmas room and it was incredible. The woman at the front desk who decorated the room was so kind and lovely.

Fine. No phone in room though...

I very much enjoyed my stay, it is one of my favorite hotels. Great setup and people are very friendly

It is centrally located in Stockholm near Stureplan. The room is small but clean.I wish there were a small drawer to organize your belonging

Love the beauty of this 158-year-old property that has a lot of unique architectural aspects - likely created during a fairly recent renovation. The sky-lit diining room is fabulous. I asked for a quiet room so got a courtyard room and took many pictures of the courtyard - which iwas able to capture again from the first floor. Nice staff, nice amenities. Fabulous location, dining, and shopping.

Overall, the stay was ok. The staff is friendly. The food at both breakfast and dinner was good. The location is great. Where it went wrong was the fact that there is no AC. My room was 27c. The option to open the windows for ventilation was a non-starter, as my room was on a busy street with too much traffic and noise from the restaurants across the street. Their answer is to provide earplugs. Not a good answer. They also provided a small fan. It helped, but not much in a 27 degree room with effectively no windows. I understand this is an eco-friendly hotel, but most people cannot sleep well in a room that hot.

This property was within walking distance to everything! Our room was on the small size but the bed was comfortable and the hotel property was really nice. Excellent breakfast. Great restaurants and shops!

I always stay at the King Karl when in Stockholm. Great location)m and buzz at hotel for a reasonable price👍👍

What a disaster! No heat i the room (-14 c outside) TV out of order. No adepters to Charge your mobile. Morning calls only available via your mobile (the mobile you cant charge in the room) Memoralble moments: "The heat doesn't work in my room" Oh, its only for one night" Ok, this place need a major shake up.i really think tou should refund my room When i told the hotel that i would report them, the manager said "I really think you should" !!??

We loved the character of this place. It's also very conveniently located, and getting to public transport was easy enough.

Noisy at night from the streets, hotel is old, so you can easily hear it being vacuumed upstairs or next door. Bathroom was merged with bedroom, so had to pull curtains in the room not to be seen by neighbors while showering. Shower drain wasn't sufficient, so bathroom floor flooded after every shower.

A very good hotel in a great location (2 blocks from the T-bana station) with a fine breakfast buffet. Only criticism is that the Wi-Fi was quite thready; sometimes one couldn't connect, sometimes it was very slow, sometimes disconnected suddenly. And is that a picture of Pancho Villa in the breakfast area?

This was a charming hotel with a very unique room - comfortable, clean and centrally located. The breakfast was great. Not great closet space in our room.

Had a family room for kids with a bunk bed. Nice, chic, European hotel. Excellent breakfast buffet, very nice staff. Docking a star because the air conditioning in the summer was rough. It’s auto controlled for the entire hotel, and it felt like our room was nearly 80 degrees. Gym was also bare bones. But good location and European vibes.
