Lots of stuff around, great value

We have stayed here before and will always choose the Valhall when we transit through Kalix. Friendly staff, clean rooms, good WIFI and a good breakfast. We never have any issues staying here and enjoy the walks around Kalix during summer or winter.

Lovely peaceful stay and great position for a walk along the river.covid breakfast not as good as usual but still fine. Always ask for a bath tub and this is never a problem. Great place.

Great place to stay while on business trip. Disappointing that I asked for omelette and they got me half done fried eggs.

A really nice hotel which is always clean, has friendly staff and a great breakfast. Easy to park at as well.

Very warm and welcoming hotel. Family room worked well for 2 adults, 2 children (11 & 13 years) for a 1 week vacation. Restaurant food (dinner and breakfast) was excellent. General customer service was helpful but slow. Rooms were in good condition with the exception of the bathroom which had a damaged shower head and hairdryer was broken - but reported to hotel. During our stay there was a major water issue that affected the Kalix city centre. Running water was not available for nearly 24hours so no drinking water, showers or flushing of toilets. Hotel staff were not proactive in helping to address this but upon request provided us with bottled water and bucket of water to flush the toilet. Bottles of hand sanitiser could also have been put out in the general areas and public bathrooms, as hands could not otherwise be washed. Aside from this (which was just bad luck and could happen anywhere), we had a great stay and would do so again.

Nice clean, comfortable hotel conveniently located in the centre of Kalix. We had no problems parking and the breakfast was excellent.

Ett hotell som behöver upprustas . Illa lukt i rum, hiss och korridor. Dålig ventilation. Men personal som är trevliga och bra med parkeringsplatser.

Lätt att checka in och trevlig personal

Eenvoudig hotel met goed ontbijt

Supertrevlig personal som kunde fixa vegansk mat och lösa så hundarna fick plats på hotellet. Lite slitna miljöer och läskiga hissar, en utan innerdörrar.

Bastun var trasig och saknades mini kyl fast en annat likadant rum hade det Dåligt utbud på tv-kanaler

Allt var toppen förutom att utbudet av tv kanaler var/är under all kritik.

Hotellin sisäilma oli erittäin tunkkainen ja huono.

Det var ok men lite dyra priser på mat och dryck

Bra frukost men de hade inte städat av borden från kvällen innan. Fina rum men i äldre skick. Trevlig personal.
