This hotel is in a beautiful area along a river outside of Malung, but the rooms are small and not particularly comfortable. It is a rustic property rather than a comfortable hotel. On the other hand, if one is looking for an adequate place to stay for a couple days at a very reasonable price, then this could be the right place. We hosted a dinner for 9 relatives in the dining room while staying here, and we were very happy with the food. Service is slow because there is limited staff, but we just wanted to spend time together so that was not a problem. For the quality of the food, the price was very reasonable. Breakfast is served in the same dining area, which includes a choice of indoor and outdoor seating, and it was fine. We asked about doing laundry while we were there, and one of the staff members did laundry for us for a reasonable charge.

Ni charging possibility for the car

Lovely location by the river, Sunday and the restaurant was closed due to day off. The Dutch couple operating the place said no problem, we’ll do our best. And they sure did, great dinner, variety of dishes and NICE. Further guests arrived after us and I’m not surprised if we were up to 20 from various couples visiting that had a great dinner. Kudos!!!! Superb stay and for sure on our map for the future

Nice (short) stay. I emailed the staff that I would arrive late and depart early. They had prepared breakfast for me and left for me in the refrigerator so I could have breakfast upon my departure. I found that to be a nice gesture.

Exceptionally good value for money. Very accommodating and friendly staff. Beautiful location.

A beautiful place and we had a wounderful Christmas stay with the family at this local places in a fantastic winder setting.

Jättehärlig plats, vi är fem i familjen och fick ett stort och härligt familjerum. Genuin miljö som verkligen är en upplevelse i sig. En upplevelse granne med Dalälven.

Hyggeligt lille anderledes hotel, fine værelser og hyggeligt. Besøget i restauranten fredag aften var meget dårlig, de var ikke forberedt på et fyldt hotel i uge 7, så der var meget koldt, 1½ times ventetid på maden, der blev serveret kold :( De kom pænt igen til morgenmaden og havde fået styr på det

Very good service and very nice people. We overlooked that we had to give a notice about our late arrival. Despite this they had arranged it for us anyway and we could spend a good night in the hotel. We woke up to a great breakfast with a beautiful view of the frozen lake outside.

trevligt, Mysigt hotell på väg mot fjällen. Skriver att elbilsladdning finns men detta är tveksamt då det bara finns ett vanligt 220 uttag som inte ger mycket ström.

Mycket trevligt! Genuin familj som drev hotellet. Enda missan var att det var ljummet vatten när vi duschade.

Fint sted. Vi havde en overnatning på vej nordpå. Sødt personale, fin morgenmad. Rigtig hyggelig pejsestue

Fantastiskt boende, man känner sig som ”hemma”. Fantastisk personal, maten var utmärkt, väldigt serviceminded personal! Omgivningarna och naturen är fantastisk. Ett otroligt fint ställe att bo på! Hundar är välkomna, vilket möjliggjorde vår vistelse på detta hotell! Ska vi bo i Malung igen, så kan jag garantera att vi kommer bo här!
