Museums and churches are all nearby within walking distance. Excursions gathering point are just within 20 minutes walking distance. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Though so convenient for all, the place is still very quiet and beautiful during non peak travelling season

Wonderful location!!!

Very nice little hotel in the center of historical Zurich.

The location was perfect. Front desk was very friendly and helpful. The room we stayed (with two additional beds for kids) was a bit smaller than we expected. However, it was very reasonably priced.

Excellent location in terms of walking in Old Town, very polite and helpful staff Room was super cute and clean. Noise coming from alley below was somewhat loud and made sleep a bit harder.

Great staff, fantastic breakfast, just a perfect boutique hotel. Frequent traveller to Zurich and we always stay at the Altstadt.

Great location, friendly staff

It started badly - we all had a dreadful first night’s sleep as the room was horribly hot and the pillows ridiculous flat pancakes. Reception was shut when we arrived so were unable to request more pillows or any fans to help in the heat. Spoke with reception the following day and they were apologetic and tried to help but had no other rooms that could accommodate us. Only 5th floor rooms have air con and these were full for duration of our stay. They offered to reimburse us if we wanted to move to a different hotel which we contemplated but in the end we stuck it out. With extra fans and more pillows we slept better on the other nights. But for £350 per night it wasn’t ideal conditions. Staff were nice and helpful, breakfast was fine and Zurich beautiful but the crazy prices for everything in the city got to us after a while and it was a relief to move on to Italy.

Close to the river. Resturants nearby. Nice stop to check the city before flying out next day.

Location, location, location.

Quaint hotel in Zurich with all the charm and amenities. Located on a side street just up from the canal. Lots to eat, shops and right at the base of Lake Zurich. Loved the old key system for the rooms. Great restaurant in the hotel for an afternoon beverage and snack. Breakfast available as well.

Room was quirky with its design but very roomy. The bed was not very comfortable and the pillows were very deflated. Would recommend a curtain on the tub shower. Restaurant was good and the continental breakfast was great.

Front desk manager was so helpful!! Arranged breakfast for us so we could get to our excursion on time. Very cool boutique hotel in a great location - walkable to everything, including Old Town Zurich.

They were able to provide a crib and it was in a great location with a lot to do around it

Nice sidewalk patio for an afternoon beverage. Breakfast was continental and delicious.

Parking was a bit of a charade. No parking onsite however it is about 5 mins. After arriving, our host said we were able to pull up outside the hotel for a few minutes to pack the car. Just know, it does look like a pedestrian walkway but you can drive on it!

Could be better - saw quite a bit of dust in the room. It is very convenient though.
