Lovely hotel in a great location.

I loved it that this hotel was situated right at the lake. The ferry to Ivoire is right across from the hotel. The breakfast buffet is good and the service is nice as well. The rooms are very quiet, even if there’s noise outside. it is also conveniently located because you can walk to the hotel from the train station.

The location and restaurant were great; beautiful location and clean. The AC was very loud making it difficult to sleep

The location is wonderful – close to the lake, the small port, nice restaurants, and an amazing gelato spot just across the street. Breakfast was excellent and most of the staff were friendly and welcoming. However, the area is extremely noisy, especially during the weekend. The silence on Sunday night was a pleasant surprise. Unfortunately, closing the window meant turning on the air conditioning, which turned out to be even noisier – not only loud, but also malfunctioning. It kept making noise even when turned off, which was very strange. We reported the issue, but no action was taken. Another downside was the check-in experience. I had informed the hotel that one guest would stay for 4 nights and the other for 3, but this could not be adjusted at checkout due to the Expedia booking. They also never responded to my message about transportation options. I felt a slightly arrogant attitude overall – they asked for a credit card and copied my passport upon arrival, without explanation.

Lovely views from balcony, good breakfast and coffee. Bars and restaurants nearby. Ferry dock steps away.

Love this city and the area. The hotel is nice and staff are very friendly and helpful. Parking is odd around the city, but in lots near the water or a big underground garage a few blocks away should be good.

The parking is more complicated than anticipated and an added cost. Hotel staff not helpful with trouble shooting parking. So ewhat surpring give the proximity to Geneva.

Lovely place with great service and a fine brasserie in lovely Nyon.

Staff was incredible…especially Dominik, the front desk chief. Beautiful hotel that’s nearly 500 years old, yet the team has breathed modern amenities into it in a wonderful way. I will stay here on all future trips to Zug!

Amazing service! We had booked one night and then ended up arriving to the area early so added a second night at the beginning. Didn't have same room type available so booked a basic room. When they saw our two reservations they upgraded our first night's room to something in between the two types, and made it very easy for us to switch rooms. They helped us with a dinner reservation at the onsite restaurant even though it was late. They gave recommendations for where to go and advice.on transportation. The rooms were good size, especially the second night in the larger room with balcony facing the lake.

Beautiful place to relax and enjoy the hospitality of the nice folks here. Spacious room with high end Neux amenities nice treat. Take the steamboat directly to Yvorie easily here.

Very nice hotel excellently situated for walking around the town. The restaurant is excellent. Only criticism is that our room was minuscule and the Wi-Fi service in the bedroom was very poor.

Nous avons retenu une chambre luxe vue lac pour une nuit. Si l'entrée de l'hotel n'est pas évidente (il faut passer par une petite porte située à l'arrière de l'hotel si on est coté lac), l'accueil est sympathique mais doit savoir faire preuve d'un peu plus de rigueur. La chambre était confortable, très bien insonorisée bien qu'au design quelque peu "vieillot", mais la vue est tout simplement fantastique et on peu rester plusieurs heures sur la terrasse à comtempler le lac et la vue sur les Alpes. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et varié et nous avons été très bien acceuilli. Avoir le petit-déjeuner en chambre nous a paru tellement compliqué que nous avons abandonné. Dommage, prendre le pdj depuis notre terrasse aurait rendu ce moment vraiment unique. Attention également à la préparation des chambres : devoir réclamer des ustensiles de bain ou encore se voir confier des éléments à mettre dans le mini-bar (payants) car oubliés.... Cela est dommage pour un établissement de votre gamme. Nous reviendrons probablement mais serons attentifs à ces petits désagréments.

Terrific stay right on Lake Geneva with perfect views of the lake from our balcony. Very clean, spacious room with AC. Literally perfect stay, exactly what we were looking for at reasonable price right on the lake.
