Good location

Loved whole hotel and staff. But there was noise outside of our windows and no view. Overall wonderful !

An excellent hotel! They called us in advance to offer a complimentary pickup from the train station and they arranged a drop off too! The staff are super friendly and helpful. We booked two rooms for a one night stay to be on the Glacier Express in the morning. The breakfast is remarkable! Will definitely come back to stay there again!

由緒ある歴史あるホテルで、室内の雰囲気もそれを感じさせるが、一方、バスルームは近代的にリノベーションされており、ヨーロッパのホテルに珍しくバスタブがあり、質の良いドライヤーも整備されていた。スタッフの対応もとても良かった。

非常に良いホテルでした。ツェルマット最古？のホテルとの事で、建物はクラシックでしたが、スタッフは非常にプロフェッショナルでした。体調壊した時も近くのクリニック予約してくれました。朝食会場も非常に雰囲気良かったです。部屋からマッターホルンが見れて朝はキャンドルマッターホルン見れました。毎日。立地もメインストリート沿いで駅まで送迎あり大変助かります。ミシュラン一つ星取ってるのも納得です。

Wonderful service. Very central in Zermatt. Amazing history. Bathroom was amazing, but the mattresses should be refurbished and provide pillow options.

Monte Rosa is a timeless gem in the heart of Zermatt. The charm of its historic architecture is matched by warm, attentive service and a sense of quiet elegance that’s hard to find. Rooms are beautifully appointed—classic yet comfortable—with views that remind you why people have come here for generations. What makes Monte Rosa special isn’t just its legacy (it was the starting point of the first ascent of the Matterhorn), but the way it balances tradition with modern hospitality. The breakfast spread is generous, the location is perfect (right in the village center, yet peaceful), and the sister property access—especially to Mont Cervin’s spa—is a real bonus. If you’re looking for understated luxury and a strong sense of place, Monte Rosa delivers.

Absolutely perfect in every sense! The staff at the hotel go above and beyond to make you stay an exceptional experience! Breakfast was amazing! I will tip my hat to the staff for finding an alternative means to getting us to the train station with three large suitcases and carrying on bags,as the main road where the electric shuttles ran were closed due to the scheduled marathon event.

スタッフの方がとても親切で、英語も分かりやすく話してくれました。 部屋も綺麗で、細かな心遣いがありがたかったです。 また、当日、ツェルマットへ向かう鉄道が通行止めになるトラブルが発生したのですが、メールでの連絡に対して丁寧に対応いただき、安心して過ごすことができました。

A wonderful hotel with a wonderful staff. I have been fortunate enough to stay at some of the best known and fanciest hotels in Europe and the service at the Monte Rosa was on the level of hotel costing 10x as much per night.

The moutain view is actually a view over other buildings and rubbish bins so a waste of money. The spa they advertise is actually at their sister hotel to which you have to walk to - not ideal. The breakfast is very basic. Rooms are spacious and comfortable and most of the staff (with some exeptions unfortunately) is nice. Ski lifts are actually about 10 min walk away. Overall not impressed and would not stay here again.

Loved the boutique hotel located on the square. Super convenient and accessible.
