We had an absolutely delightful Christmas stay at Hotel Rosatsch. This was our very first time visiting the area, and it was a bit of a spur-of-the-moment booking while travelling in Italy from London — we decided to chase a white Christmas, and wow… did we get lucky! ✨❄️
The hotel is perfectly located right in the heart of Pontresina, making it incredibly easy to get anywhere. The premises are beautiful, tastefully decorated in a classic cosy Swiss style, and kept spotlessly clean. There’s so much to enjoy for the whole family, from the wellness area and pool to the kids’ playroom. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and a lovely place to relax after a day out.
But the true highlight of our stay was the staff. Everyone — from reception to the wellness centre team — was genuinely kind, welcoming, and attentive to every little detail. Their warmth and care made our stay feel extra special and truly memorable.
A huge thank you to the entire team at Hotel Rosatsch. We couldn’t have asked for a better first visit, and we’ll definitely be coming back!

Overall we had a great stay! The staff Julian at the reception was excellent and very friendly. He provided us many useful info and it’s a highlight of our stay. The hotel’s location is really convenient for ski in St-Moritz (Free ski shuttle bus) The half-board breakfast and dinner were delicious, especially the salad buffet with a lot of choices. The sauna/spa area is very nice too. Only thing could be improved was the pool water was a bit too cold. Anyway, definitely recommend and will stay again if we go back to the region.

Sehr schönes Hotel, aber Zimmer leider ziemlich abgenutzt ( Stühle,Teppich,Vorhänge,Badezimmer) im Gegensatz zu den öffentlichen Bereichen. Die sind wirklich schön. Kaffe und Teezubehör dürfte man für diesen Preis erwarten. Personal freundlich.
Beim Morgenessen 3 Tage lang jeden Tag das gleiche Prozedere mit den Rühreiern. Werden erst wenn man darum bittet aufgefüllt und dann auch nur sehr knapp.
Keine Warmhaltestation, deshalb alles immer fast kalt.
Aufschnitt und Käse auch nicht gerade abwechslungsreich.
Wir kommen nur wieder weil die Zimmer im Gegensatz zu anderen Hotels relativ gross sind. Ansonsten viel zu teuer für die erbrachten Leistungen.

Das Hotel habe ich als sehr sauber empfunden und das Personal war sehr freundlich. Das Frühstück hat uns sehr gut gefallen Auswahl und Aufmerksamkeit des Personals waren top. Die Zimmer waren ansprechend eingerichtet, man hat sich sehr wohl gefühlt.
Die Lage ist zentral in Pontresina der Bahnhof ist zu Fuß zu erreichen, alternativ fährt in der Nähe des Hotels auch ein Bus.
Die Speiseauswahl im Restaurant hat uns nicht so gut gefallen, daher haben wir das Angebot nicht genutzt, hier hätten wir uns einen etwas mehr italienischen Einschlag gewünscht.

Rooms were clean and provided fresh towels and sheets everyday. When we arrived we were welcomed by the receptionist Visiliki. She was wonderful and provided great recommendations for restaurants and activities! Navigating the bus and trains to and from St Moritz can be confusing, as the hotel does not provide shuttles to the ski resort but they do provide free bus passes if you do not have one. Overall, great stay! We will be back.

Absolut top ! Service und die gesamte Hotelcrew waren extrem freundlich und zuvorkommend. Für Familien top. Auch Parkplätze für “hohe Fahrzeuge” auf Anfrage vorhanden, wir konnten somit mit Dachbox in die Garage fahren.

We LOVED everything about this hotel. We were sad to leave. An amazing comfortable common room with a bar and fireplace. Exits right onto the path to the lifts. A most amazing breakfast and lovely dinner available. Bruno and Monika at the bar and Yusuf in the dining room so gracious. Barbara at registration so helpful .The indoor pool very relaxing. Lovely town!
