Amazing Hotel that takes you back in time in the heart of old town Basel. Walking, restaurants, shopping all within short walking distance. Wonderful staff were there if needed and assisted in all items we asked

Wonderful location, beautiful views, friendly staff, room was nice. My only negative comment would be the rooms were rather dark, need more lamps or overhead. We went during a hot spell but we were not expecting to no have air conditioning (we had a fan that helped some)

The building is amazing. Staff is impeccable.

Loved the location. We were there for National Swiss Day and ate at the restaurant where we had great food and a front row seat for the fireworks. The staff could not have been more pleasant. They shifted our dinner reservation at the hotel restaurant and provided recommendations for other places. They provided coffee service on each floor. The Hotel is older and could stand newer furnishings, but has character and the beds were comfortable. There is no air conditioning, but we were comfortable even in early August.

Super fint hotel. Manglede bare en aircondition. Blæser larmede og var til ingen nytte. Og super fedt med gratis vand og kaffe på hver etage.

The location is great. Breakfast is good. The staff are very friendly and helpful, especially Victoria, she is wonderful. However, the property is very dated, no air conditioning, my room was very small and very basic. The bathroom, which seems it has ben recently renovated, is too small even with the sliding door solution. I don't really know how this hotel was classified as a 4-star hotel.

Super location, friendly staff, great restaurant and service. Unfortunately, the rooms have no air conditioning, which is very uncomfortable during summer temperatures. We were offered 2 fans, which helped, but not really a solution. The room with the city view faced towards the construction site across a small street, which meant very loud noise starting at 7 AM every morning. The pictures on the web did not accurately show the room setup; the double bed room was super small and had only a very small closet. Overall, great location, service and food, but poor accommodations.
