Stayed one night at this hotel. Bed was very comfortable and I liked that there were two different types of pillows to choose from. My room faced the street so I was a bit worried that all the street noise would keep me up, but once you closed the bathroom door (the windows were in the bathroom) it was silent! Slept like a baby and enjoyed my stay.

The hotel got some very friendly staff and was very nicely decorated! We enjoyed our stay a lot and really appreciated the great hospitality! Conveniently located near Tai Chung Train Station with plenty of shopping and dining options around, it was a very affordable and decent choice for solo travellers or small groups of friends! Will recommend!

1. Name stated at hotel.com was Central Hotel. However the name stated at Taichung was Old School hotel. Had difficulty locating it.
2 Breadfast on Sunday was fantastic. However breakfast on Monday, staff has forgotten to add our room number. We had to eat what was available. Breakfast was still not too bad.

Customer service is amazing; Room is much smaller than expected (as the images shows a wide-angle perspective); Temperature of shower is inconsistent and unpredictable as it can get from hot to cold within seconds - probably if two person is using water at the same time.

The room is super pretty and location is convenient. Walkable from taichung rail station (not the HSR station). Toiletries and towel are provided. There is staff counter for check in and check out, very fuss free. Oh and their shampoo is amazing, leaves my hair really soft! Also found a few famous local eateries frequented by locals nearby too!

Close to Taichung train station, so easy access to THSR connection.
Apparently due to public holiday, check-in was 2 hours later than normal; we were only informed when we tried to check in.
