莱茵河城堡饭店

Location a little bit confusing, because the receptionist and the hotel are separated... It mostly apartment-style hotel... It's very clean and the facility is good... but without a heating system, it is little though during the winter.

Clean and comfortable. I stayed here during North-to-South bicycle trip. The manager was very personable -- highly recommend!

The receptionist is nice and have a call for confirmation before checking in. The room is tiny but have anyone I need. There is a carrefour 3 mins by walk and bus station 5mins by walk.

The room was fine but really a bit small for the price and location. Hotel is far away from city center and overall nothing really special about this hotel at all, no shower just a hose in the bathroom. Most hotels at that price have a nice big shower. This hotel has no built in showers at all, and the room was no bigger than my own bedroom. Will likely book there again. Just not worth the price and location of the hotel.

Helpful staff, when they were there. Very difficult to find, no (English) sign. No reception at all. Room was OK. Bed hard. Room clean, but not made up during stay. Shared bath, but I was the only one using it .Fourth floor walk-up. It didn't feel like a hotel.

A really cosy, lovely & family run hotel. Very nice & comfortable. It's situated on the suburb of Taichung city, in a town called Shalu. Set back is bit far from train station, but the comfort of the hotel quickly overcomes the tiredness of walking from train station. A huge Carrefour supermarket is just behind the hotel & anyone would be able to get anything there. The room is clean, comfortable & bed was big. When I stayed that night, Tav was not working too well but the attentive & kind staff got it fixed soon. Highly recommended if you do not want to do anything during holiday.

All is well, except the bathroom. Shower was come from the washing sink in a narrow corner, and the toilet was somehow smelly. Despite the room is spacious, the bathroom is way not pleasent.

Convenience, very close to Taichung airport, nice place to stay

The hotel likes the home and the area likes the social area. You can enjoy their live styles.

It's not bad for staying in this hotel, safe and comforty, they would contact you before you arrived and offer pick up service, also provide travel info.. Just a bit far away from the city center and have to get bus for going out.

The room was amazing; big bed, A/C, good tv selection, very clean and comfortable and WIFI in room. Staff were so helpful, came to find the taxi when they weren't sure exactly where to go. We're cyclists, so they let us put our bikes together there, gave us lots of maps to help us on our way, helped to find out train/bike info and let us leave our bike bags to come and collect on our way back. Great value breakfast voucher came with our stay. Very close to airport, restaurants and carrefour for any needed essentials.Thoroughly recommend this place to all; Miffy and co ensure a happy stay!!!

Rhine Hone (or Rhine Home really, I think Hone was a typo) is not a hotel exactly. It doesn't have your 24 hour hotel staff, no coffee shop downstairs, or even the usual hotel lobby. It's more of a bed and breakfast, than anything. The rooms were spacious, and bright. They're clean, had ample provisions, and most had access to Wi-fi (which had a reasonable speed). What makes this place shine is the sheer hospitality of the people running it, they're very accommodating, called me and emailed me a day before I was set to check-in just to see if Id have trouble getting there. Gave me her personal no. because we're getting in really early, and gave us early check-in for no charge (subject to the availability of the room of course). My only problem with the place is it's a bit far off from the venue of our convention, and taking a taxi back and forth can get expensive, but that's my fault though for not researching more about its location. The area was excellent, lots of walk-able eating places, and there's a bus stop not 5-mins away. Over-all, the experience was enjoyable. I would definitely come back if I was in Taichung again (assuming I don't have daily meetings an hour away).

住宿環境安靜整潔是優點,唯房間略小些,隔日早晨無提供早餐.建議可考慮增加此項服務.

房間整潔乾淨，明亮，櫃檯服務人員親切； 唯一比較可惜的是，蚊子稍微兇狠點了。

民宿位置很好，步行5分就有商店街，吃飯購物很方便

老板跟老板娘都很勤切，熱情介紹週邊環境與餐飲，隔天退房也很熱心幫我們拍機車旅行的團體照，唯一美中不足是浴室排水設計不良，希望下次有機會再入住能改善。
