6/10 some staffs are not friendly. Going to train station is too far 30min walk and road is not good. Tv is super suck ..

The rooms and property are clean for Western standards. This is probably the best feature. There was no odor to the room. The walls are thin so you will hear neighbors if the TV are talking is louder than normal. The gym is limited with equipments, but it does have a separate sauna, jacuzzi room which is nice. The biggest negative is the breakfast. The choices for breakfast were limited and mediocre. The front desk customer service was mediocre.

Great location and quiet.

Arrived with two luggages, 2 taxies were blocking the entrance, impossible to move the roller on the luggages due to the rough ground and steps, and no one was available to help.

We mainly interacted with the customer-facing staff members (front desk, restaurant), they spoke English well and extremely friendly. There is a little bit of a cultural difference (expected); my parents spoke to them in Mandarin while my wife and I spoke to them in English, the entire time they looked at my parents while speaking to them in English, my wife and I weren't offended; in this culture, you make eye contact with the adults rather than the 40-year old "kids". The rooms were clean upon arrival. However, they may be short staffed (or really busy) as we found our rooms weren't vacuumed until the 3rd time we requested for them to clean the rooms--we didn't request it daily. We have family in Taipei and it was easy for them to pick up to go to places since the hotel was right next to the freeway entrance. We didn't use public transportation but our family told us was 15-20 min. away. We did use the taxi once, the hotel helped us called for one and almost spent the entire day at the Global Shopping Mall ($125NT) about a mile away.

Staff are helpful even there is language barrier, every effort is exerted on their part to help each patron.

The hotel is aged but refreshed and clean. The staff was nice, parking was very convenient, but it’s quite a way from main Taipei attractions.

Staff were friendly and attentive. Always greeted me upon arrival or departure. The fruit bowl on my floor changed every day. Cleaner gave me a different snack after room service. Now I'm on the hunt for it. Gym is small but nice and clean with reasonable A/C. Private card for the shower/hot tub/sauna area adds assurance. I do wish the sauna was a bit hotter and the hot tub was a bit cooler - but that is my personal preference as a North American. Thank you for having me!

Stayed at this hotel for 7 nights. Tw First impression of the hotel was that it should be a very nice hotel, couple of years ago. Decoration and building style are somewhat out of date. Staff are very attentive, and can even remember guests' name. Everyday they will provide a free snack/ drink, which is a nice touch. Upon check-in, was given some fruits as well! Bottle water are free and replenished daily. The free breakfast that comes with my package was nice, breakfast selection was more than what you can imagine. Both Western and Asian style, there's a buffet bar as well as main dish that you can order. The surroundings are not noisy, however, soundproof between rooms should be improved. There's a convenience store (Family Mart) right by the hotel, perfect for grabbing beer and snacks at night. The hotel provides free shuttle (they arrange taxi for free) to the nearest subway station on every hour per request. I strongly suggest to make use of it as walking to the station will take a long time. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for someone who needs to do things around the area. If your main purpose was to explore the more tourist/ popular places in TPE, then this hotel may be a bit too far from the center.
