Et steinkast fra stranda. Eierene var meget hyggelige og imøtekommende, satte stor pris på den mottakelsen. Beste pris i Nungwi så nær stranda, med kort vei til alt av restauranter og aktiviteter. Hadde rom nærmest stranda, i følge annonsen var det sjøutsikt, men det var ikke noe å skryte av. Et glimt av hav mellom en bygning og over et særdeles rustent tak var ikke rare greiene.

Owner of this hotel Sebastian and his wife goes far and beyond our expectation. We’re friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was awesome every day and air conditioning was superb… beach is 1 min walk and location has a lot of good restaurant. We highly recommend this place for couple and families. We had room for 4 and enjoyed every minute of our stay. Sebastian organized for us transport from airport when we arrived . He also organized tour which was reasonably priced and time wise very well calculated ( spice farm, prisoner island and Stone town) right before our departure from Zanzibar. I am glad I choose this hotel for our family of 4. We already missing Zanzibar.

I really enjoyed my stay at Cocolala Beach house. From the owner Carola, to the staff, they were all extremely friendly and helpful. Being that I took a solo trip for my birthday to Zanzibar, I really appreciated Carola in making sure my day was very special. If I had any questions or needed any assistance, someone was always around to help me. The hotel was always clean and fully supplied with water and toilet tissue. If you’re looking for a comfortable and safe hotel with a 2 minute walk to the beach, this is your place!

I had an absolutely incredible stay at Cocolala Beach House in Zanzibar! From the moment I arrived, the warmth and kindness of the staff made me feel right at home. The manager went above and beyond, ensuring a welcoming and seamless experience—her hospitality truly set this stay apart. The room was wonderfully comfortable, with excellent air conditioning and an overhead fan, making it a perfect retreat after a day in the sun. One of the standout moments for me was when I had early morning scuba dives—since breakfast was served later, the manager thoughtfully prepared a to-go breakfast for me, a small but incredibly meaningful gesture that made my experience feel truly 5-star. Beyond the fantastic service, I loved the outdoor space—a peaceful porch and well-kept surroundings, ideal for relaxing. The location is unbeatable, just steps from the beach and within walking distance of amazing restaurants. If you're considering where to stay in Zanzibar, I highly recommend Cocolala Beach House for its comfort, charm, and exceptional hospitality. I would absolutely stay here again!

Hosts and staff very helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Location wonderful with many restaurants within easy walking distance. Hosts organised trips at a competitive prices. Would highly recommend anyone looking for a life in the slow lane in paradise

Bra: Stort ljust familjerum. Skön säng. Frukosten väl tillltagen med juice, kaffe/te, frukt, ägg enligt önskemål och ”dagens sötsak” som munk eller pannkaka. Rostat bröd och marmelader. Hade gärna velat ha en ostbit. Mindre bra:Badrummet hade lite bakfall i duschen så vi fick skrapa golvet efter varje dusch. Vårat rum låg i mitten av en loftgång som gjorde att uteplatsen inte kändes så privat.

Supermysigt hotell riktigt nära stranden. Trevlig personal och gratis frulost varje morgon. Det enda som finns att anmärka på är de väldigt hårda sängarna, men annars var allt toppen

Owners are friendly, everything else is just very average. Rooms are not nicely decorated. There are a lot of construction works going and WiFi is very slow.

An absolute perfect stay and amazing location! Right by the beach with tons of incredible restaurants and shopping including art galleries with gorgeous local artworks for sale. The owner and the staff are among the warmest kindest humans I have ever met in a hotel setting and I truly enjoyed interacting and engaging with them. They serve the best juice here and the hotel itself is just lovely, naturesque and peaceful. I will definitely be back 💜

I had a wonderful stay at Cocolala Beach House. The rooms are large, comfortable beds, excellent shower. Breakfast was fantastic and you are only steps to the ocean. The staff are very friendly and helpful and I would love to come back one day. Thank you for a great stay! So beautiful!

Great hotel right by the beach. Could walk to the beach in 30 seconds from our room. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was tasty. No complaints.
